  After getting quotes ranging from $6k to $17k for bat exclusion work, I was feeling pretty overwhelmed and skeptical. Joe, the owner of Bee, Bird, and Bat Men, was a breath of fresh air. He came out within 24 hours after I reached out, listened to my concerns, asked a few questions, and confidently explained how he would solve the problem without trying to upsell me on unnecessary work (one company previously recommended that I replace ALL of my insulation despite their being bat droppings only in the very far corners of the attic that can be removed and sanitized). His estimate was significantly more reasonable ($2-3k) depending on what was needed), and he even told me that if the job turned out to be easier than expected, he wouldn’t charge me for work that wasn’t necessary. I ultimately went with another company because they also provide general insect/pest control services that fit my long-term needs, and I am using them to determine if I want to hire them full-time for ongoing work, but I felt compelled to leave this review because Joe’s honesty and integrity stood out. In an industry where it’s easy to feel like you’re being sold something, Joe was straightforward, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone dealing with bats or wildlife issues, and I’ll be reading right back out to him if this other group does not get the job done right because I know Joe and his team will handle it.

  We called Joe at 9 AM for bat removal and he was here by 1 PM. He found the bat, educated us on the situation and is returning with roofers to patch up any openings. Joe is efficient, knowledgeable, compassionate and calming during a scary situation. Thank you, Joe!

  Not transparent about pricing. $135 for you to tell us we have squirrels? We knew that. Very misleading in the initial phone call. Stay far away.
