- MHMarion Harris2 days ago1.0I navigated to The Container Store’s website to confirm an appointment for custom closets over two weeks ago. An email was sent confirming the appointment. A second email was sent yesterday reminding me of the appointment. And, today, no one showed up. A call to the store revealed that, unless you are directly contacted by a designer, there is no appointment (despite the numerous emails FROM CONTAINER STORE saying otherwise). So, while The Container Store may save you space, it will waste your time. Why I wasn’t contacted in the 15 days since I confirmed an appointment for today is beyond me. One star is charitable here, but apparently is the lowest I can give.

They will soon be joining together with bed bath and beyond in the same store so there's some good sales going on right now.

I sent my husband there to pick up a few items for our home, and he was not greeted at all and was treated poorly throughout his visit. Customer service felt cold and unwelcoming, which is unacceptable for a store of this reputation. It honestly gave the impression that they cater to a certain type of clientele, and unfortunately, we did not feel like we were part of that. Everyone deserves to feel acknowledged and respected when they walk into a store. We will not be returning. Definitely do not recommend.
