Came in to buy a grill...had to run in and out trying to find an item number...the one I originally wanted there were atleast 15 lined up out front...person assisting couldn't find it...found one on the app...ended up buying that to get it done...she called multiple times to get us assistance and no one ever came...gentleman that came to help me load it was very kind and helpful. There needs to be atleast 1 or 2 checkout lines with a live cashier...the person assisting self checkout was very polite...but she was pulled a million directions trying to help those checking out. There are too many point of sales displays in the aisles causing issues with people trying to maneuver in the store up near returns thru the self checkout area.

Not nearly enough staff during weekdays hours 8A-5P. My associate and I walked aisle after aisle trying to get assistance in electrical and to get blinds cut to size. Never found anyone who knew anything about the electrical dept and their was no one on the working staff that day that could cut our blinds. What a disgrace to see what used to be a top notch store in my mind 10 years ago, slowly become just another low level service US company.

This Lowe's store is the worst when you're in the store shopping the workers act like they got attitudes they don't want to help you look for what you're trying to shop for then when you get up front to pay for your stuff the people standing over your back like you ready to steal something where will all of you guys in the back when I've been walking around shopping trying to get some assistance for the last 30 minutes 40 minutes and then when you finally reach somebody they got an attitude they don't want to come show you what you looking for or help you so when you get up to the front to pay for what you bought the people standing over your back like you stole something and whoever Mike is inside the plumbing department is rude as hell

I am incredibly disappointed with the customer service and quality control at this point. As a first-time homebuyer, I have a massive list of things I need to buy for my new house, but I won't be returning to Lowe's if this is how business is handled.
I ordered a set of deadbolts twice, and both times was given used inventory. The first time, I placed an order for store pickup at the Newport News location (300 Chatham Dr). I had to refuse the order on the spot because the boxes had clearly been opened and returned by someone else.
I waited a month, hoping the inventory would clear out, and ordered the exact same deadbolts to be delivered directly to my house. They arrived in the same condition—opened boxes, and one was even missing the strike plate.
When I took the defective items back to my local Lowe's to return them, the store associate refused the return, claiming they came from a "different Lowe's location" and were scanning as an entirely different item.
I am stuck with open-box, incomplete items that I cannot easily return due to a system error on Lowe's end. I simply want a refund for the open-box product I received without having to drive all over the state to get it. Lowe's management, please fix this.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
