  I first fell in love with Restoration Hardware 10 years ago when I stepped into a Manhattan showroom, and I will forever be a fan of this brand and its stunning aesthetics. My recent visit to the Tysons Galleria location completely reaffirmed why. Learned about the RH brand ethos too. Truly inspiring. I was graced by a lovely design consultant named Eleanor. She was incredibly polite, extremely knowledgeable, and absolute joy to work with. Even though I repeatedly mentioned that I had budget constraints, she remained completely engaged, welcoming, and helpful. Eleanor is a true class act who perfectly embodies the high standards of the RH brand. Thank you, Eleanor, for an exceptional experience!

  Once you buy the furniture you get passed off to a scheduling and customer service department who doesn't care at all about you. They will change the delivery time multiple times. They will schedule your delivery and then be missing items. Their additude is you get what you get and whenever we decide to give it to you. You don't get any particular point of contact and have to speak to a new person every time. And that new person is just reading off a computer screen. Doesn't matter if that information changes daily they will just read you what it says. Whatever problems exist no one has any responsibility for. You will be able to talk to to no one who cares or can help you. You will wait months and months for your furniture. Be given ever changing times and then when there is a delivery it won't be what you expected. You will need to make dozens of calls but it won't matter in the end you will be just number in their system and they will send you what they want when they want. The original store you bought from and the nice sales person won't be able to do anything to help you.

  I needed to buy some cabinet knobs, pendant lights, and flushmounts from RH but couldn't make final decisions without looking at the lighting metal swatch first so I went to the store with my husband on a weekend, and the store was very busy. Of course, the store itself is beautiful, and it's fun to just walk around, but it was a bit hard to find an associate to talk to because they were all occupied. At first, I didn't realize you have to sign up at the front desk to be on a waitlist to be assisted mostly on weekends. I randomly approached an associate named Gianna (sp?) who just finish with a client and I asked her about lighting metal swatch and kitchen cabinet knobs, and she very nicely told me about the waitlist but she still quickly helped me and showed me where I can find the samples for kitchen cabinet knobs and pulls in the store. I was able to look at them for a while on my own, and later when she was less busy, she saw me in other parts of the store looking at lights and asked me if I need help. When I asked for a specific lighting metal swatch that she didn't have, she showed me a specific light in the store that uses that metal. Gianna had a very nice attitude, was very helpful and professional. I was surprised to read other reviewers complaining about the associates being rude in the store, I don't know about other associates but I wasn't dressed to the nines, and I still got really friendly and professional service from Gianna. Because of her help in the store, I was able to finally determine which pendants and lights and cabinet knobs I want to order!

  The store and items inside are gorgeous. The staff on the other hand.... This is the kind of store where you walk in and there is a barrage of staff blocking you from browsing. It seems as if you must be accompanied to even dare to look at the couches. They look down on you and make you feel very small. Not welcoming at all. It was a weird experience to feel this level of discomfort at a furniture store? Maybe they are trying to act like the luxury brands a floor below, but, it's not a good look. It doesn't make the brand luxurious and high class by acting pretentious. Very off putting, would recommend taking your business to the other two stores next to them.
