This is the second project that we have done with Hanover. This time we corrected downspouts and built a patio with a seating wall. The patio turned out great, more beautiful than we expected. The seating wall was.late decision add on, we were glad we agreed to it. Our barely usable backyard became a gorgeous usable space in 5 days! The downspouts are now submerged and disbursed water beautifully when it rained all day on Sunday. Makes the space more finished and tidy. I recommend Sean and Hanover with no reservations. They always do a superior job.

★★★★★ We recently had Hanover Landscapes do some work for us, including installing a French drain, putting in a rock and stone walkway, and extending a retaining wall. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! The work was really well done, and the crew was friendly, professional, and easy to work with. They kept everything clean and tidy while they were working, which we really appreciated. They also got the whole project completed much faster than we expected without cutting corners on the quality. It’s not often that a project like this goes as smoothly as you hope it will, but this one really did. The finished work looks great and has made a big difference around our house. We would definitely recommend Hanover Landscapes and will be happy to use them again for future projects!

Sean and his crew are exceptional all day long! I was hesitant to start a major landscaping project in the heat of the summer because I knew the 100 degree days and no rain would outpace my ability to get enough water on the new grass. Sean came back and top dressed the lawn and applied new seed and fertilizer. Looking forward to seeing the grass coming in! That is just one of many times he went above and beyond during the whole project.

We’re hired Hanover Landscape to redo an existing patio that had not been done right the first time, roughly 10 yrs ago. It felt extra important to get it done right the 2nd time. Thankfully, we had a wonderful experience working w Sean and his workers. From beginning to end, there was great communication and a solid understanding of our needs. Sean was incredibly patient and generous with his time, discussing options and concerns that I had, never making me feel like a difficult customer when I had questions. He provided very detailed written plans explaining the scope of work. He truly wanted us to be happy w the result and is still responsive to texts with questions and small issues even after the balance was fully paid. (That’s a rarity!) It’s a beautiful patio and I’m very happy with it. Hopefully we can work with them again on landscaping! Thanks, Sean.

My retaining wall was 30+ years old and needed replacing. I reached out to 3 venders for estimates. The material was 6X6 timbers. I accepted Hanover Landscapes quote and they started within 2 weeks. The crew did an excellent job removing and disposing of the old wall and constructing the new wall with appropriate drainage. They kept the area clean and safe. The wall was 85' long and 3' tall . It took 4 days to complete start to finish and included about 8 yards of mulch being spread. They took pride in their work making sure they satisfied the customer. I will not hesitate to to contact them again for other projects. Estimate and wall construction was done in May 2026 in Glen Allen Va.
