  Worst customer service. Every time they ever came out to work on our pool or to bring chemicals, the techs never had what they needed. When they opened our pool this spring the pool was still full of leaves and debris when they left, and they left with the jets not working properly because they did not even clean the filter box on the filter. No one ever answers in the service dept. After voicing my concerns by not communicating to their tech they sent out to work on my pool's salt water generator, instead of fixing it or checking to see why it wasn't working, they cleaned the cell and left, after making two trips and it was still not fixed their solution was to refuse to come back to fix it. As a business owner myself, not only is their behavior unprofessional, it is unbelievable. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

  I really wanted to like JDO pools. They have a professional looking retail location in Kilmarnock, seemed to be experienced (as they also have a Richmond location) and the owner and Staff were nice. They were hired to close and open our pool. Closing went fine. Opening was a disaster: - They arrived late, worked for a couple of hours and left without saying a word. -The bottom of the pool was left filthy with debris. - All valves were left open - Pool heater was left on (don't know why it was turned on) - Skimmer baskets were broken - Circulation nozzles, and pool plugs were installed incorrectly. I left a message to see if they were coming back and received no response. I called again two days later and was informed they were going to return the next day. After a couple more unsuccessful visits and them unnecessarily cutting off the filter's drain pipe with a Sawsall (without asking), I gave up. I repaired the pipe, backwashed the pool several times and vacuumed it myself. I was promised a call 2 weeks ago and still haven't heard back. I am so disappointed. I have had a pool most of my life and have never had this sort of issue.

  No stars. Stay away from this pool company. The are not up front about their charges, and their owner is rude and discourteous. They opened my pool, but were unable to get it truly clean and in a condition to swim in it. STAY AWAY. You will be better served by another pool company.
