Extremely poor service every time we have to go there !
1.Never enough help to accommodate the amount of customers hence leaving customers waiting for long periods of time !
2. Either poor training or just plain ignorance from some of the sales associates. Today we went to purchase a washer, dehumidifier & some salt for our whole house water softner. We had 4 - 40lb bags of salt in our cart and went to the appliance section. Picked out the washer we wanted ( which leads to complaint #3 ) approached the sales associate and was told they didn't have any in stock ! Instead of staying with us and helping us find a suitable comparison , she walks off and starts helping another customer. It only took us 5 minutes to pick another washer. She stayed "busy" chit chatting with them for an HOUR ! Only calling for another associate when she was almost done with other customer only to turn around and cancel the request for other associate. I finally have her attention and say that I've decided on another LG and start to lead her to the model to show her which one and I get to model and she is not behind me ,she is back at the register ringing up a much more exspensive LG than we decided on. ( I am losing patience with this woman at this point ) I correct her and go from there. It should not take over an hour just to get checked out !
3. They NEVER have IN STOCK what we originally go for. This hasn't been the first, second or even third time they didn't have in stock what we went there for. To be the only Home Improvement Store in the immediate area they really do NEED TO DO BETTER !!

Never anyone working in any specialty area. Profits much more important then customer service. Price tags never on lumber. Always wrong stuff in areas and makes 2 trips to get the right items. Very poor store
In addition micro management is not management. Learn to manage people and a store. Management is keeping good employees. Micro management runs off good employees. I see a huge turnaround. And a very poorly ran store. I had items today and long lines to check out. I don't work there so I refuse to check myself out. That's for your average person that doesn't respect themselves. I expect to be treated with a cashier sense I am spending money. I'm not trained and do not get a discount so do your job and open a maned cash register. Left my items for you to put back. Ha!!!

Don't trust the website. The garden section doesn't open until 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. There is no sense behind that whatsoever.

Terrible customer service. Be prepared to search the entire store just to track down a single employee for help. While customer support across Lowe's has taken a hit recently, this store sets a new low standard. This will be the downfall of Lowes Hardware, been like this for years now.
Frequently Asked Questions About Lowe's Home Improvement
How do I find a product online?
Search using a keyword, Lowe’s item number, brand or manufacturer’s model number. You can also browse by department to shop Lowe’s large selection of items.

For your protection, only the cardholder or an authorized user of the credit card may pick up the order.
How do I return or exchange an item?
Most (but not all) items can be returned within 90 days. If you bought something from Lowes.com, you can start a return online in your Order History before shipping it back to us. How do I place an order with a tax-exempt account?
Visit the customer service desk in store to apply for a tax-exempt account.
It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
