  Recently moved to Fredericksburg and had been a loyal client to the Meadows Farms in Manassas. Purchased over $3k of plants for our new home about 4 weeks ago. One of the holly trees died and I went to return it according to their guarantee. I was told the plant was "fully alive"... it is NOT. And, they will not honor their exchange or return policy. I will never shop at the Fredericksburg Meadows Farms again.

  Do not waste your time with these folks- very poorly managed and will sell you on a price and trap you in the end while not holding up their end of the contract. We purchased over 15 6 foot trees as part of privacy sale. They said they would be installed at 10am. They arrived at 4pm to begin, after we had already taken off work to ensure someone would be home. Then, early in the install I noted that the majority of the trees were 5 foot and under- inspected their own tag which noted the same. Called immediately, had discussion with the same sale associate that had came to the house to provide a quote. He said it may be too late to get in touch with a manager so we chose to continue the install and “deal with it in the morning” once they opened at 0800. About 30 minutes later and 5 trees from complete on the install, the installation team knocks and says their manager told them to pull all the trees (after they had already dug up my entire front yard) and to just begin calling in the morning to speak to management. No call to us was ever made or the delay, the fact that we received the wrong size tree from what was paid for, to discuss options- nothing. But you can call your team to go ahead with destroying my yard but not the customer? To tell the customer to call you back on their time after you already wasted their whole day? Interesting choice. The installation team was calm, professional, and polite- apologized many times. I noted that their management should be apologizing to them. Rather than doing their job they played telephone and left the team standing on our property to deal with their poor business practices. Absolutely awful customer service experience overall. Already reported to BBB. AVOID! They will sell you one thing and delivery another.

  Sells pond plants but none of the employees i talked with could explain how to maintain them.Waited in long lines just to be told no cash accepted no signs on the register saying other wise so had to go to another line and wait longer. bill was good friend of the family and did tons of business with us in the past I know he would be disappointed in how this location is run no leadership.

  The 1 star is for a the variety of plants and flowers they have. The customer service was awful! Non existent!! I was in the store for about an hour and a half. There were atleast 6 staff. I was NEVER greeted by a staff, no one asked if I needed help, no one acknowledged my presence and they all looked miserable to be at work. I asked the cashier a question and she just pointed and said over there. I will never come back to this location. The only reason I made a purchase is because I needed the plants today for a gift.

  I can't help but give a shoutout to Nora, the kindest employee I've met in years. Right off the bat, she gave me a warm welcome the first time I visited the store, which is something that has become rare in the retail in service industry. I appreciated the organization in the store, yet Nora was helpful in directing me to the items I was looking for. Because of the good energy, my first experience at Meadow Farms was certainly memorable and I am looking forward to the next time I visit. Thank you, Nora, for being an amazing help.
