Catching up on my reviews. We had a Crap Myrtle delivered by one of your drivers, Mr. Jay Padgett. Mr. Padgett was a true professional arriving on time and getting the tree to where it needed to be planted. He answered all my questions for proper planting and care. He is to be commended for this dedication and true professionalism.

This place is beautiful and has the biggest selection of outdoor plants I've seen. And they had a few sales going on, which was nice. And the girl who answered our questions and checked us out, I didn't get her name but she had blonde hair and pretty makeup, was very nice. My boyfriend and I were in there for at least forty-five minutes and bought $70 worth of plants, and with the sales (including the VIP text club we signed up for) our total ended up being $55. The only part of our visit that got us down was an interaction with an employee. I can't remember what her name was, but her name tag said assistant manager on it and she was wearing a blue bandana. To preface this, we live in the middle of the woods and have deer, they come into everyone's yards on our street regardless, as well as squirrels. We have problems with squirrels taking all our bird seed and have tried everything with no luck. Also, most of the plants we have in our yard are already deer resistant to, of course, keep the deer from eating them, because they're in our yard regardless. To help prevent the squirrels from stealing our bird feed, and to give the deer a little something to snack on so we can watch them for a little longer when they come (plus it also helps keep them away from the few plants we have that aren't deer resistant), we buy corn from tractor supply and spread a little bit of it around our yard at a time. So far, we've had luck with at least the squirrels by doing this. Now, when I brought this up this to the previously mentioned employee, because I made a comment about a deer resistant plant, she said "Why would you do that?" Of course, I didn't understand what she was talking about. Then, she continued with "Feeding the deer... That's the dumbest idea I've ever heard." I simply said one more thing along the lines of "Really? Why? I know other people who feed the deer." She then started going on about something along the lines of deer patterns and how they'd be attracted to our yard now and start eating our plants. Of course, as i just wrote about, that was never an issue to begin with and still isn't now. I work in customer service, and I'd be written up if I ever spoke to a customer like that. Wanting to educate people is one thing, but being blatantly rude is unnecessary, and at your place of work? As an assistant manager? There's a way to nicely explain why certain things may be detrimental without insulting people.

If I could give a negative review I would. I came in and had a basket full of plants to purchase yesterday around noon. When I go to pay for my items the cashier and a customer are carrying on in a private conversation. Also, there are no other lines open. I patiently wait for the cashier to wrap up her conversation and she doesn’t. After about 3 minutes of them talking I decide to leave. I left the basket with my plant right there in line. I have no idea how you all are still in business. This isn’t the first time I have gone into this Nursery and had issues. So it’s a wrap of me. I will drive further North/South to purchase my plant babies. You obviously don’t need the business.

Absolutely ridiculous shopping experience here. I came in with my mother and sister to come look at plants and trees for our outdoor patio space and weren’t greeted upon entry; already a bad sign considering there were two cashiers at the entrance. We walk around and no one is particularly helpful, we try to find cherry blossoms and fruit trees but couldn’t find where they were. I decided to go ask for help from a girl working there and she blatantly told me she didn’t know and to ask a cashier which is fine, but at this point we were already in the back of the store towards the outdoor area. Alright fine, we deicide to walk back inside and asked for some help finding them and while the girl was nice, she didn’t really explain where the trees were… Ok, I guess we’ll just saunter back outside. We still asked someone else cause it was our first time shopping in the specific location and were confused but he wasn’t much help either. I wish they would just take someone to where the specie tree is!!! It’ll take you 2 minutes max, we’re obviously confused! Here’s where I was absolutely fed up. This employee who’s name I did not catch had such a sour attitude towards my family when we were walking towards a tree area and said we couldn’t lug our bed through there. I apologized but she kept saying to move the cart, I’m trying to carry a tree so I can pay for my items! I’m not lugging this big tree with my arms all the way inside. I tried explaining this but this women was annoyed and kept telling me the same thing over and over again. At that point I just had it and grabbed my family and left with the cart right there. I don’t know her name but she was heavy set with brown hair and was short. I don’t like writing reviews but this place was horrible and would not recommend to anyone. If you’re looking for plants just go the Massaponax location, they’ll actually help you.
