  Was here on July 3rd and the cashier in the garden center was very rude to my wife. I have called the store about this and reached out to Lowe’s as well. My toddler was very upset and wanted a drink from it being so hot out that day. As we were checking out my wife hands me a water bottle to have scanned so she can give our child a drink of water. The cashier stopped scanning what I had on the cart to look at her and say “do you have a way to pay for that?”. It caught me off guard and I didn’t even realize what she said until we were walking away. Worst experience at Lowe’s for sure. Their customer service has been declining really bad for the last decade.

  I’ve been to many hardware stores across numerous states over the years (military family) and was really blown away by the customer service at this location. I did an online order to catch the 4th of July deals and the automation changed stores on me for order pickup, not cool, especially when the other store is another 30 minutes further. I didn’t find this out until after I already arrived at the store. This area we just moved to is more rural than we’re used to so when you leave the house with 3 littles in tow, it’s an ordeal! I was frustrated to say the least. I called the other store right then and they said I had to drive there or I could pay the $80 delivery fee but there was nothing else they were able to do, even after speaking to the manager. I went back inside this location and explained the situation to the order pickup staff. They could tell the kids were overheated and tired so they brought them cold waters unprompted and said they would get the manager. The manager came out, heard the situation and said don’t worry we got you. He assured me he would deliver the items for me at no charge in two days. Honestly it made my week. Moving is hard enough, and doing it when your spouse is out to sea is next level. Thank you to this Fredericksburg store!

  I had an excellent experience at Lowe’s today. From the moment I arrived, the associate was ready to help me. He greeted me, confirmed my name, and immediately led me to pick up my order. There was no waiting at all. I mentioned that I needed to take the lumber to the back to have it cut so it would fit in my car. Before I even asked for assistance, he kindly pushed the cart all the way there for me after noticing I had a toddler with me. He then connected me with another associate in the lumber department and wished me a great day. The second associate was just as helpful. He asked what size I needed the boards cut, noticed that my son was uncomfortable with the noise, and thoughtfully offered him hearing protection. After cutting the lumber, he carefully loaded everything back onto the cart and even offered to help take it out to my car. Both employees were friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Their kindness and willingness to go above and beyond made a stressful errand with a toddler so much easier. This is exactly what great customer service looks like. Thank you, Lowe’s, for having such wonderful employees!

  I went to the Central Park Lowes to pick up some filters for my air conditioner. Walking in through the contractor entrance I was greeted by both the cashier and customer service representative with friendly smiles and the inquiry, " Is there anything we can help you with today?" No. I knew where I was going, but the question was welcomed. I found one brand of the sized filter I was looking for, but could not locate another brand which was on Lowes website at a better price. I asked at the customer service desk, showing the Lowes employee my phone with the product page for the filter I wanted. He took a look and quickly explained this is an online item only, but that it could be ordered for pickup or delivery to my house at no extra charge. I thanked him and left the store, ordering the filters from Lowes online. The cheaper online vs in-store and confusing availability of products is not unique to Lowes and is frustrating as a consumer. I imagine its frustrating for employees as well who probably are asked frequently about this issue, not always in a nice way. That frustration could not be found in the interaction I had with the Lowes employees at this store. They were polite, knowledgeable and pleasant. The store itself was organized and clean. The parking lot is a little worse for wear, with noticeable trash here and there. The debris is likely from customers loading and unloading, packing and unpacking bulk product. Some customers appear to fail to clean up after themselves leaving it to Lowes to perform the task. A little more attention to detail regarding the exterior cleanliness and landscaping would go a long way for Lowes Central Park to outwardly reflect the high quality customer experience it gives to its customers. (-1 star) The Central Park Lowes is a good store and today's experience reflects my many other visits.

  I ordered a blackstone on May 26th. I confirmed my delivery date (with assembly) of June 11th, received a confirmation text, and a confirmation email of the delivery date. The EVENING BEFORE the delivery date, I received an email that my delivery date was changed to the next week. I called Lowe's and was told that the Fredericksburg location transferred my order to a Lowe's OVER AN HOUR AWAY. If I wanted to drive and pick it up, I would've just chosen to do that instead of explicitly choosing to have it assembled and delivered. Now, I have to drive an hour away to PICK UP the griddle because the Fredericksburg location screwed up. This is absolutely the worst customer service I've ever encountered. This location could've called me to let me know what was going on instead of transferring the order to another Lowe's & changing my delivery date WITHOUT contacting me. I chose that date for a reason and rearranged my schedule to accommodate. It's poor business practice to make changes to delivery dates without contacting the customer.
