  I am writing this review to give a massive shoutout to Luz at the South Stafford (Fredericksburg, VA) Lowe's location. She went absolutely above and beyond to help me out, and honestly, this kind of top-tier customer service is hard to find these days. Not only did Luz take the time to help me track down everything I needed, but she also took the initiative to get me fully set up with a Lowe's Pro account. She walked me through the process seamlessly, helping me unlock benefits that are going to make running my business and managing my material lists a whole lot smoother. What makes this even better is that it wasn’t a one-time thing. I’ve been in the store multiple times, and Luz is consistently excellent, incredibly knowledgeable, and ready to help every single time. If corporate or store management is reading this, please give Luz the recognition she deserves. Employees like her are the exact reason I will keep bringing my business back to this specific location. Thank you, Luz, for the incredible support!

  Overall, this Lowe's location in Fredericksburg is a solid go-to for home improvement needs, and one of the first things you'll notice when you walk through the doors is how clean and well-maintained the store is. The aisles are clear, shelves are neatly stocked, and the overall shopping environment feels organized and easy to navigate. It's clear that the staff takes pride in keeping the store in great shape — a small detail that makes a big difference when you're trying to find what you need quickly. The one area where this location falls a bit short is in staffing for the electrical department during early morning hours. If you're an early bird who likes to get a jump on projects before the day heats up, be aware that there typically aren't any electrical specialists on the floor before 8:00–8:30 a.m. For general purchases you'll be just fine, but if you have technical electrical questions or need guidance on a more complex project, you may find yourself without the expert help you need until later in the morning. A simple fix — even having one knowledgeable electrical associate available at store open — would make this location nearly perfect. That said, for overall cleanliness, product availability, and a pleasant shopping experience, this Lowe's earns high marks. Just plan your electrical questions accordingly!

  Today, I came to pick up a curbside order and had a very disappointing experience. When I arrived, I parked in one of the Pro parking spots near the entrance. I informed an employee that I would be going inside to shop for a few additional items and left the back door of my truck open. When I came out to pay for my additional purchases, I noticed that the pavers from my curbside order had been unloaded and placed all over my truck, including on the open back door. The pavers were stacked in a way that prevented the door from closing and made the vehicle unsafe to drive. I wish I had taken a picture, but in the moment I was focused on resolving the situation. While checking out, I asked the cashier if someone could help restack the pavers properly. She was very kind and immediately agreed to help. Three young ladies came out to assist me. My father, who recently had knee surgery, saw them working and came over to help as well. However, the employees were then told by a coworker named Steven to stop helping, stating that it was “my problem now.” After I finished paying, I spoke directly with Steven and explained that I frequently shop at this location, regularly place curbside orders, and have never experienced anything like this before. I told him I did not understand why my order had been loaded this way or why it had not been placed on a pallet. Steven said he did not know what had happened but would call for assistance. Unfortunately, no one came to help. Instead, employees stood by and watched while my father and I reorganized and restacked the pavers ourselves. I find this situation extremely frustrating and disappointing, especially as a frequent customer who shops at this store regularly. I would appreciate an explanation of how this happened and assurance that steps will be taken to prevent similar situations from occurring in the future.

  I had the most rewarding experience today at your store thanks to 3 employees. Steven in hardware, Daisy at the lumber checkout and the gentleman who carried the products to my car. Also, the ladies at the front of the store who helped me find what was needed. Every one was so helpful, completely professional, friendly, seemed to totally enjoy their jobs and were my absolute pleasure to have encountered them. Thank you SO much for everything you helped me with today! It meant much more than you know!

  If you online shop, choose in store pickup instead of curbside or else you'll be sitting in the parking lot for 45 minutes before having to go in anyway
