Richard at Lowe’s Store #2623 in Fredericksburg made our shopping experience exceptional! He took the time to help us find the perfect light fixture and never made us feel rushed. Even while multitasking and assisting other customers, he made us feel like we were the only people in the store.
Richard was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about helping us find exactly what we needed. He answered all of our questions, took the time to have a conversation with us, and made the entire experience enjoyable.
His customer service is truly outstanding—100 out of 100. Lowe’s is fortunate to have an employee like Richard. Thank you for going above and beyond!

I had profound dissatisfaction with a recent dishwasher purchase and its installation. The process, contrary to expectations, became a protracted ordeal. The contracted installer, Mega plumbing, caused extensive delays, including a technician no-show that cost me a full day's wages. Upon eventual installation, the dishwasher proved defective. Lows eventually refunded the appliance itself, the $270 installation fee, for a service that delivered a non-functional product, was not reimbursed. This entire sequence of events represents a substantial financial loss, a significant waste of my time, and a deeply negative customer experience that has eroded my confidence in Lows services. Save yourself time and money, don’t buy anything from them.

Edited: your response is crap. It is literally the standard definition of delivery service AND customer service from Lowe’s. I’ve called your corporate number. I was told to expect a contact back more than a week ago. Corporate cares less than the store staff. Original: Has delivery drivers come 4 hours before their delivery window, delivers the product to the wrong location, leave it in a driveway before expected rain, only deliver part of the order, submit fraudulent proof of delivery (the picture was from the warehouse before it was loaded, and not my signature), I’m a small woman and the equipment delivered is bigger than I am, which is why I paid for professional delivery, then the delivery department, customer service and the managers line all ring for 20 minutes before disconnecting. Each and every delivery order from this location is an actual crap show. 8 hours later and still can’t get anyone on the line, the store must be on fire.

I've visited many Lowe’s locations throughout the DMV area, and every time I do, I seem to run into Melissa, Nathan, Courtney, or Ashley. Each of them has been absolutely amazing. In fact, I'll gladly make the 45-minute drive whenever I need to shop at Lowe’s because of the outstanding customer service they provide.
Melissa and Nathan are excellent supervisors who consistently go above and beyond for customers. I especially want to give a huge shout-out to Melissa. She is always pleasant, professional, and approachable. As someone furnishing a brand-new home, I often spend an hour and a half or more shopping in the store, and Melissa never makes me feel like I'm inconveniencing her. She is always willing to help with a positive attitude and a smile.
I've also overheard the way she interacts with her employees, and it's clear that she is a strong leader who genuinely cares about her team. As someone who works in a corporate environment, I can honestly say I would hire ten Melissas if I could.
Lowe’s, you need more employees like Melissa. She is a true asset to your company, and her dedication to both customers and employees does not go unnoticed. Thank you, Melissa, and thank you to Nathan, Courtney, and Ashley for making every visit a great experience.
