  I've purchased four chairs at La-Z-Boy in the past several years for family members moving homes and with changing needs. The chairs have always been useful, durable, and comfortable for everyone in the houses; the recliners have always been great furniture for us.

  FALSE ADVERTISMENT! In the store, the salesperson demonstrated the fabric protection by pouring blue-colored water onto a fabric sample, and the liquid remained on the surface without soaking in at all. Based on that demonstration, I decided to pay extra for the fabric protection. After my furniture was delivered, I was told the protection is simply a spray. When I tested it on my furniture, the liquid soaked into the fabric almost immediately. The product I received did not perform the way it was demonstrated in the showroom. The in-store demonstration was significantly different from my actual experience and directly influenced my decision to purchase the additional protection. I believe the product was presented in a way that was misleading and did not accurately reflect its real-world performance. I regret making this purchase and would not recommend paying extra for the fabric protection based solely on the in-store demonstration. Customers deserve honest, accurate, and transparent information about what they are buying before making a purchasing decision.

  If you're heading to the La-Z-Boy in Fairfax, do yourself a favor and ask for Byron. He is absolutely fantastic! He’s actually a retired physics teacher, which means he completely understands the structural science and mechanics behind a truly comfortable chair. Byron really knows his stuff, wasn't pushy at all, and made the whole buying process incredibly easy and fun. Highly recommend asking for him by name! I ended up buying my first La-Z-Boy recliner, and I'm very excited for it to arrive!

  We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this store, all thanks to the store manager, Michael. We were on a mission to find the perfect recliner for my mom, who just underwent hip surgery and desperately needed a more comfortable seating option than her current couch. From the moment we walked in, Michael was incredibly friendly, kind, and genuinely empathetic to our situation. He took the time to understand exactly what kind of support my mom needed for her recovery and guided us straight to the perfect option. To top it all off, he made sure we got the absolute best deal with their July 4th promotion. If you are looking for high-quality furniture and want to work with someone who actually cares about their customers, ask for Michael. Thank you so much for turning a stressful situation into a seamless, pleasant experience! We believe Michael deserves a raise! There are not enough kindhearted, empathetic and fun employees like Michael!
