  Mr Ellis and crew did a superb job removing two huge oak trees in my yard. They coordinated with Miss Utility to get the various lines identified. They arrived on time and were professional, quick and very affordable; from cutting down the trees, to removing the stumps and cleaning up. HIghly recommended.

  Ellis Tree & Outdoor Services completed a large job of removing six pines (80-100 feet tall) on our back hill. I can’t praise John and his crew enough. They are highly skilled and efficient with a remarkable work ethic. They just never stopped. The challenge of the removal was compounded by the fact that the trees were mostly on a hill, very near a rock wall and other landscaping. The Ellis team took great care in communicating with one another. They used belays and zip lines to ensure their own safety and to make sure none of the logs hit bushes or created divots in our yard. They were here for three days and at the end of each day, raked and removed debris as if it were their last. Finally, they reseeded the one grass area that got minimally damaged from the equipment, (far less than we had expected). That reseeding was not part of the contract – we expected to do it ourselves, but John offered to do it. John is a gentleman and very ethical. He was proactive in supplying his business license and workers’ comp and liability certificate of insurance to us and flexible about adding contract language we requested. He answered all our questions and described his process in detail. We give John and his talented, hard-working team our highest recommendation. We will definitely call him in the future.

  John Ellis and his tree maintenance crew are exceptional! Working in a confined space bordered by 40 year old azaleas they pruned (if that's the right word) an ancient maple tree from a neighbor's property with expert skill and care to other plantings. The climber and the ground crew were polite, careful and thorough. The clean-up was perfection. In addition the pricing is very fair. We have used this company numerous times and wouldn't think of engaging anyone else for tree work on our property.

  Ellis Tree and Outdoor Services removed a maple and pine tree along with trimming two others. The workers were on time, cleaned everything up beautifully and did a fantastic job.

  John and his crew from Ellis Tree and Outdoor Services met me, provided a reasonable estimate and payment options, explained the process as my yard is tricky and it would be hard to get a crane into my backyard where the dying tree was, and then promptly scheduled the tree removal within a week of my contacting them, working around my work schedule! Today the crew then did a great job taking down a 90ish foot oak tree in our backyard! They systematically cut it down- removing lower branches on the trunk as they climbed to the crown of the tree, topping by removing the crown branches, and then proceeded to take the trunk down in 5-6 foot long chunks. This process helped save my lawn and the surrounding trees from damage! Then they thoroughly cleaned up the yard! Another wonderful service they provide us payment plans so you don’t have to get a loan necessarily to take down your dead/dying trees to protect your property and your neighbors’ property!
