    I am writing to bring to your attention a troubling experience I had at your store on Friday, May 1. While shopping in the garden section, I came across several flowers that were not clearly marked with prices. I approached a sales associate, Owen, for assistance, but instead of receiving help, I was met with an unexpectedly rude and dismissive response. The associate insisted the items were labeled and, when I explained I could not read the price from the barcode, he followed me back to the display, agitated, and pointed to it. When I reiterated that I could not determine the price from it, he told me it was my responsibility to bring the items to the register to find out. As a 77-year-old lifelong Lowe’s customer, I found this interaction unhelpful and disappointing. I have always appreciated the service at your stores, which is why this experience was so surprising. I asked to speak with a manager. Another employee, who indicated he was overseeing the garden section in the manager’s absence, came over and apologized for the situation. However, when I identified the associate involved, that individual reacted dismissively, repeatedly saying, “Owen, Owen—my name is Owen if you want to complain,” while tugging at his shirt. At no point did he offer an apology. I left the store feeling dejected and disrespected. I rarely make formal complaints, but I believe this situation reflects unprofessional behavior that needs to be addressed. I'm bringing this to your attention so we can take steps to improve customer service going forward. Lowes used to be the store I would go to for all of my gardening and household projects, but this incident really left a bad taste in my mouth, and I have never received such open hostility and downright unprofessional service in any retail store.     I waited 15 minutes for someone to help me purchase items in a locked cabinet. Despite hearing the announcement five times myself, nobody came. So I am taking my purchase of 500+ dollars down the road to Home Depot. I would have complained to the manager, but I’m not certain he/she would’ve been able to come in the next 30 to 45 minutes, so I’m leaving my feedback in this Google review 1:45 PM on a Tuesday afternoon… No service received.

    Need to buy a washer and dryer. No one around. Manager isn’t even around. Hard to spend money when no one will sell items to you!!😡

    UPDATE: When you call the number provided in response to the review left, where Lowes is asking to speak with you directly about the issue, it is received by someone who barely speaks English and has no idea how to receive and process the call. Every bit as pointless as their installations process. Lowes has really gone down hill with their installations. The people they contract are not qualified or professional. We had a refrigerator installed and the people showed up high and reeking of weed. We also just had a horrible experience with a carpet installation, contracted through Service Pros. (Read reviews of this company online). The installation was shotty. The carpet is not tacked down in places and lifting up. The ordering and scheduling process is a train wreck. We received a message confirming our installation date and time. Removed everything from the room to find out the day of that they lost the carpet. Their automated messaging process is pointless. They send text messages without even knowing the actual details of the project and with order numbers that cannot be found online. Once the carpet was reordered, Service Pros said it would be another two weeks to get the installation scheduled. We had to fight with Lowes to get a better date but again, the installation was not well done. So, we get to continue fighting with Lowes and Service Pros to have it redone or fixed. We have definitely learned our lesson will be going with an actual flooring company for the rest of the house.

    This Lowes store itself was great. We had great customer service purchasing our appliances. My issue is with the 3rd party Lowes contracts to deliver appliances and Lowes claims team. My BRAND NEW construction home was damages by careless delivery workers who left without saying anything. Our new floor is damaged with tears in the Vinyl floor from a washer and dryer install. The claims woman told me this ISNT a Lowes issue?? Mam, this certainly IS a Lowes Issue... Lowes has hired terrible delivery companies to do THEIR installs on the 3k worth of products I purchased from LOWES. In her emails she never said she was sorry for my experience etc. An apology from the Lowes claims department would be the least they could do. Nope. Just a "Received your email and forwarded it." I'm floored by experience so far!!!!
