  These people are incredibly helpful! They answer phone calls and you get to speak with a human. Upon arrival from out of town, I had a 16ft truck with an attached flatbed in tow and I had concerns about a storage unit facility wide enough to maneuver, disconnect tow, unload truck attach flatbed etc. No storage unit in town was able to answer my phone calls except North Charlottesville Storage. They addressed all my concerns and waited for my arrival to stage me while they set up my storage needs. Thank you Sarah and team for streamlining this process for me, it was very helpful.

  It’s so helpful that this storage unit location has staff on-site every weekday during business hours! In a time where so many businesses are going digital-only for customer service, the availability of real-time, real-person assistance really sets this business apart. Every staff person I interacted with was so friendly and kind, answered all my questions, and was super understanding (I had to stay an extra day or two into a new month, and they made an exception to their usual no-pro-rating rule to make sure my move-out process went as smoothly as possible). The units themselves are clean and accessible (all ground-level). I stored items in a climate-controlled unit for a year, and never saw any signs of mice or other damage. Plus, the ongoing presence of staff on-site made me feel extra secure about the safety of my belongings (and my own safety when checking on my unit). Would recommend this place to those looking for a storage unit!
