  They have plants no doubt, but customers service was useless and pathetic. None of the person was interested to answer when asked questions about where to find the plants. Plus when asked twice, they gave wrong answers. I asked specifically for Gardenia plant. One person said he doesn’t know, other said they don’t have it, and while leaving we saw the gardenia plant right at the entrance. Worst experience ever. Even though they have variety of plants I would never return to this location.

  First of let me just say this place is a tad expensive. But its really nice, people are good. Many of them seem to be plant enthusiasts. Last saturday we met designer of the day Jamona to ask for plant suggestions for a custom patio pot. She was SO good. seemed to understand what we want even before we knew it ! She was nerdy but in a very very charming sorta way. I mean that as a compliment. Anyway my daughters and I had a great time picking out plants with her. Later that day we were going to participate in a moters day even when the machine could not print our ticket. But Jamonah went out of her way to help again ! thank you !

  Had a terrible and (very expensive) experience with these people, I highly recommend that you seek a private contractor before you spend your hard earned money with meadows farms. The quality of their trees was/is awful and after arguing with them to get my half dead Newport Flowering plum trees replaced they came out and installed 2 more half dead ones in there place! I then called them and they acted like it was my responsibility to check the inventory before it was installed, then Steve suggested that I drive down to Chantilly VA to pick them out? Well I live near Martinsburg WV so why wasn't I working with the Harpers Ferry nursery to begin with (which is much closer to me). When I set all this up, I did it over the phone and Ron was dispatched to my location, why would they set me up with a Nursery all the way out in Chantilly?? After arguing and screaming at them to replace the trees, once again they sent out 2 more scraggly trees with many dead branches on them (I was told that this was just "cold shock" and they would recover)..I'm tired of yelling at people to get a couple of decent looking trees put on my property! My money isn't half dead like their trees are! I find it astonishing that they would put this stuff in my yard!..And this doesn't even cover the 5 half dead green giants I have (which they only replaced 2 of) the other 3 will (according to them recover), meanwhile they look like crap! I can't believe the amount of money they charge for the poor quality of work they do! My only alternative is to scream and yell (I'm 67 years old and I can't stand doing that) hire a lawyer or hope everything will recover from it's poor state of health.

  This nursery is conveniently located, all of the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and I love that they have an increasing selection of native plants every year! Special shout out to come here in the winter too- they often have some native plants very discounted since they are dormant at that time. Everything I have bought here has done beautifully.

  Great customer service ! My mom loves plants. She only speaks Urdu. So last Saturday when she wanted to shop, i dropped her off with some concern. But when I came back she was being helped by a lady ( tall, shoulder length hair ?), who was from south India and very fluent in Urdu. what a surprise ! Well my mother had a great time chatting with this lady. Kudos to her and whoever hired her. Well done you ! Only thing is prices could be lower. Especially since my mother bought a cartload of plants a will be visiting a lot more in the future. My mother just remembered, her name is Yamuna.
