The rudest sales rep just came to my house. I was polite and simply asked if it was a sales call and let him know I wasn’t interested. He laughed in my face. I asked what was funny and his attitude only got worse.
I then asked for his company name and, while still laughing, he said “ecojo.” I responded that it was pretty obvious considering the company logo was on his hat. Based on that interaction alone, I would never consider using your company. Professionalism and basic respect matter.

We had an extremely disappointing experience with Aptive Environmental / Aptive Pest Control and want to warn others to be very careful before agreeing to service.
A salesman came to our door and offered us what sounded like a great deal that was supposedly better than our current pest control provider. Based on the pricing and terms he explained, we agreed to move forward.
The very next day, a technician arrived to perform the service. However, before beginning, he presented a contract with completely different pricing than what had been promised by the salesman the day before. My wife immediately pointed out that those were not the agreed-upon terms and refused to sign the contract. The technician then left without performing any service.
Later that evening, around 6 PM, my wife received a text message stating that another technician was coming to perform service. She responded immediately and clearly stated: “Do not come to our house. We are not home.”
Despite this, the technician came onto our property anyway. We observed everything through our security cameras. The individual simply walked around our property holding a long stick with a tan-colored ball on the end. He did not perform any visible pest control treatment or actual work. My wife again texted and told him we were not home and not to perform service. He remained on the property for approximately 10 minutes, sat in his vehicle for several more minutes, and then left.
Shortly afterward, we discovered that Aptive charged our account $149.
My wife immediately contacted the company and explained:
* We never signed a contract.
* We did not agree to the revised pricing.
* We specifically told them not to come to our property.
* No actual service appeared to have been performed.
We later learned that Aptive had entered the wrong email address into their system, which meant we never received the contract or cancellation information. Because of this mistake, we were deprived of any meaningful opportunity to review or cancel within the alleged 3-day cancellation period.
To make matters worse, the company then attempted to charge us a $199 cancellation fee despite the fact that no signed contract existed.
After speaking with customer service, the representative agreed to waive the $199 cancellation fee, which we appreciated. However, Aptive still refused to refund the $149 charge because the technician claimed service was completed — despite the fact that our cameras show otherwise.
This entire experience felt misleading, unprofessional, and dishonest. Consumers should be very cautious when dealing with this company, especially regarding verbal pricing promises, contracts, and unauthorized service visits.

I just had very weird interaction with two representatives from this company. They tried doing a cold call random service and knocked on our door. I was not sure what we needed and my partner was already talking with another pest control company. I tried to be nice offered to take a business card to think about it. They refused to give me a card and said they wanted to perform a service today since their truck was already outside. It felt like they were pressuring me into agreeing to service. When I declined they demanded to know when my partner would be home so they could talk to her. I felt so uncomfortable and irritated at this point. I was definitely not telling when to come back and talk to us. They would not stop talking and would not leave without an answer. So I shut the door hoping they would go away without having to call the police. Thankfully they finally gave up and left.

Not happy with today's outcome. I have been waiting from 1 pm to 5 pm. Usually they're good about sending you a 30 minute call or text that they are on their way .I did not receive that today. But then got a email saying that my services were completed. I never got the interior of my home serviced only the exterior was serviced. I called so the person could return but did not have any luck now I have to take time off from work during the week. Annoyed
