Their customer service is so bad it seems on purpose. It's hard not to think this company is just a grifting scam but the tech was nice when I finally was able to arrange one. Customer service even worse than Terminix and that is saying something!

Marquette was extremely courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He provided me with a clear, step-by-step explanation of the treatment process. Once he finished, he thoroughly explained everything he had done and even provided pictures for reference.
He was, by far, the best service professional we have experienced compared to other companies we have used in the past. His attention to detail, professionalism, and excellent communication truly stood out. I would highly recommend Marquette and look forward to him treating my home again.

The exterminator technician Jonathan was very polite and explained the job to a T, very helpful and seem to be very educated with his job walked with me around the house and explained in detail the service we were getting and where we were getting it and how it will work to control the outside pest would love to have Jonathan come back and be our exterminator, hopefully, we will get the same treatment every month, unlike other pest control agencies we’ve used in the past !! Door to door sale pitch. Deal sounds good, but service is not! I switched over to them about a month ago and they have rescheduled my treatment 3 times already to do “unforeseeable event.” Their customer service is automated and unless you like hearing the same response over and over again form a robot I wouldn’t bother trying to reach them. Stay away from this company!!!

We recently signed an 18 month agreement with Aptive and I completely regret my decision. There was red flags from the start and I shouldn’t have brushed them off.
First, I’d like to say their enrollment process is easy which was great for me because I don’t have a ton of spare time to make calls to find the “perfect fit” for pest control. They personalized our treatment plan and I liked that they did their best to meet our needs on paper.
After I signed my contract I was set to receive service same day. I was told service would be sometime between 12 and 3. At around 3:30 I texted the guy who I signed my contract with and he told me they were running behind and they’d be at my house at 7pm. I figured it wasn’t a big deal but this was a red flag that I ignored.
A couple of weeks later we noticed we had a really bad ant problem in our backyard and so I scheduled a service and my service was cancelled without any reason given. I reschedule for a couple of days later and the guy who serviced our house was great but due to rain suggested we reschedule our mosquito treatment because it was useless to do in the rain which we totally understood and didn’t mind rescheduling that service.
This Friday 07/17 I had a service scheduled again and we waited and waited and no one ever showed up. I was told the service would be sometime before 4pm and 4pm came and went. At around 7pm I get a notification that my service was cancelled. No explanation. No call. Nothing.
It doesn’t seem fair to give them 1 star because ultimately when someone has actually showed up to do our service it has been good but save yourselves the hassle. Do your research upfront and don’t go with Aptive. It’s only bee a month and I wish I hadn’t signed a contract.

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
