If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. We booked a 5x5 unit for my daughters college dorm. We called the facility and specifically asked to confirm: a. Was the unit accessible by cart? b. Was it a lower unit? c. MOST IMPORTANTLY: What were the exact dimensions of the unit? When we arrived on Sunday, the office was closed. The unit was in a hall separated from the others and up a small flight of stairs - unaccessible by cart. It was a stacked upper unit (see image) and not a lower unit. More importantly, there was a big Air Duct Pipe running through the unit (see image). We couldn't fit one of our dressers, and had to take that with us and donate it to Goodwill. When I called the office the client service manager was one of the rudest people I've ever dealt with in my life. She told me I could come back tomorrow and move lockers. I explained that we were moving my daughter and driving back tonight. I asked if we could be compensated, her response was "No"... the reason, because she can't confirm that what I'm telling her was accurate because she's "not local". I tried to explain that I don't understand why her being local was important given this is a pipe that the company should know about and as such the unit isn't 5x5, but smaller and should be charged for as a smaller unit. She kept interrupting and talking over me saying over and over: "I don't know what's in the locker, I'm not there, I'm in FL." Trying to explain to her that her being in FL didn't seem to be something that should matter, given the pipe was there always, and should be noted in the description as an obstruction didn't seem to resonate with her, so she hung up on me. I then called back again the next day to the local office, Tony, from the local office started by hearing me out. He offered me $75 compensation. I thanked him, but explained that the the dresser we had to discard was har more than the $75 he credited me, and that the ongoing cost of the rental should simply be adjusted to charge me for the smaller unit, and not the larger unit... simply to account for the physical and actual size of the unit not being as was described in the rental agreement. Instead, Tony got quite belligerent. He said he understood why the other person hung up on me. He lectured me to say that the contract we signed stated that "we accepted the unit AS IS" and that "the size is approximate". I pointed out that we couldn't have "accepted" anything, because we didn't see the unit until we got there, and that it's not legal to knowingly misrepresent something in an agreement and then try and blame the customer for unknowingly accepting a false claim. He told me to stop playing lawyer, and that I signed the agreement. At no point did I ever raise my voice, say anything condescending to Tony, and was always reasonable with him. I reminded him that we called in advance to confirm the dimensions, location and access. At this point, instead of simply referring me to someone that could resolve this appropriately, such as charging me for the size of the unit I got... Tony hung up! Welcome to Extra Space, where you get what you get and you better not complain, and customer service is a lecture, rude comments and being hung up on!

I had a positive experience working with Tony, the manager at this storage facility. He was professional, approachable, and consistently helpful throughout my time there. Any questions or concerns I had were handled promptly and with clear communication. Tony keeps the property well-managed and organized, which makes a noticeable difference in the overall experience. It’s clear he takes pride in maintaining the facility and ensuring customers feel supported. I would recommend this location based on the level of service and professionalism provided.

Do not recommend. Unit price jumped from $125 per month to $229 per month without notice. I called in to get the balance on my account. I expected it to be in the $300 range with late fees. It was $784!! Rightfully, I was pissed. When I asked the clerk why the balance was so high, he said they sent me certified mail 3 months earlier to notify me. When I told him I've NEVER received any kind of mail from them, he insisted that I did. I asked him who signed for the mail, he changed his story to the price I was initially paying was a promo. I refuted that, so he changed it to "it's in your contract, we reserve the right to increase pricing based on supply and demand". I told him that was the dumbest thing I've ever heard, that typically happens for NEW customers or at a renewal point or when demand is actually high. I also asked why if demand is so high do they have so many vacant units. While I was trying to make the point that it looks like the increase is to just make up for the high number of vacancies, he interrupted and asked if I was going to "ever be quiet so I can talk". Almost doubling the price without notice is bad enough, but that combined with the clerk's rudeness and changing his story three times in a 10 minute conversation, I rented a space down the street at AAAA Self Storage. I have a larger unit at a better price, even with insurance included. Joe and Kent are VERY friendly and helpful. The location has multiple loading docks, plenty of space to maneuver a moving truck and there are no blind spots when exiting the parking lot.
