    Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling. Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they are deep in the middle of this. Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc. As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed,  To my or my wife's satisfaction. -An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period. Timeline: -Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty. -Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install. -An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed". -Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one. -So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty. -$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile. -I will not go into other damage issues here. -Ted Aschenbrenner Manassas Virginia 20109 Keywords Below are appliances products names or contractor terms etc. that could be relevant in doing due diligence on purchasing.     I’m writing a review for Makenzie (apologies if I spelled the name incorrectly) from the flooring department, and for Amanda, a manager I met at the customer service desk. This is for the West Valley City Lowe’s near Hunter High. Makenzie helped me purchase carpet and gave me many thoughtful suggestions. She was honest, patient, and clearly focused on my actual needs rather than trying to push a sale. I really appreciate her professionalism and attitude. Her colleagues in the flooring department were also very friendly and helpful. I met Amanda when I came in to replace a defective saw blade that came with a 6‑tool Craftsman set I bought a few days earlier at another Lowe’s location. I first visited customer service on 5/3/26, but the manager working that day was not very helpful and told me I needed to bring the entire tool set back before she could assist. She also suggested I buy another blade at a discount, which didn’t make sense to me. I returned the next day with the full set and met Amanda. She was extremely helpful and supportive. I could tell she genuinely cared. She immediately replaced the blade and apologized for the inconvenience, even though it wasn’t her fault—it was a manufacturer quality‑control issue. Her attitude made a big difference. Employees like Makenzie and Amanda are the reason I want to continue being a Lowe’s customer. When customers are taken care of, the business thrives. Many successful companies are built on that principle, and many struggling ones forget it. It’s rare today to find employees who truly understand and practice great customer service, and both Makenzie and Amanda do exactly that. I believe they deserve recognition and opportunities to influence more employees so the whole store can benefit.

    I do the curb side pick-up, and they are always quick to handle it and get me on my way. They are very pleasant and professional at the same time. They will always have what I need, or they will help me locate it at another location. If you are doing anything around the house, Lowe's is the go-to place for all your needs.

    This review is for Lowe's Installation Service Team (IST) and not the Lowe's retail store. IST has been extremely frustrating to work with. I had a Windows install project that began last October. The installer messed up and broke two windows, one old one and one new one. The new one took four months to replace so I was offered compensation for the inconvenience. The compensation has yet to arrive. The first check was apparent sent a month ago but it never arrived. I continuously called to inquire about the status and was told to wait 14 business days for it to arrive. I was told by one rep that if it doesn't arrive then the replacement would be sent via expedited mail. After waiting the requisite 14 business days I was told they would send a new check but it would be sent the same way as before. I refuted that saying I was promised 2 day shipping. I was told there was "nothing they could do" and I would have to wait. So frustrating and will be a factor when deciding who to go with on my next window project. EDIT - 12 days after writing this review I still have not received the appeasment check. How can Lowe's choose the slowest way possible to mail a check? This is horrible customer service. AVOID! I won't be using them for the remaining window install. EDIT May 17 2026, I was finally able to resolve this directly with the store. Thank you Lowes store team for taking care of your customers.

    James and Helen are outstanding employees! After a very discouraging start with another employee (Jordan) who sighed when we asked for help and told us to just order online or go to a different store, James and Helen jumped in to help. They handled our in-store order perfectly and with great attitudes. If you go here, definitely look for them! They actually care about the customers!
