- TATed Aschenbrenner2 days ago1.0Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling. Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they are deep in the middle of this. Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc. As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction. -An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period. Timeline: -Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty. -Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install. -An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed". -Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one. -So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty. -$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile. -I will not go into other damage issues here. -Ted Aschenbrenner Manassas Virginia 20109 Keywords Below are appliances products names or contractor terms etc. that could be relevant in doing due diligence on purchasing. - CHCherise HarrisApr 12, 20265.0I ordered a shower kit and when I unloaded it I noticed the top of the box was opened and peeked inside. The corner of the shower kit was broken. I was devastated. When I ordered this item stated only a few stores had it in stock and it wasn’t close to home where I have 2 nearest Lowe’s. I don’t have any issues with boxes being open but if I could glance and see that the item was broke I felt like an associate could have as well and still let me walk away with it. Even though I was upset when we called very associate was understanding and more than willing to help us out. Evan was the last person who talked with us and found one more at his store. Told us he would open it and verify it’s all in good condition before getting our hopes up. He personally called us to verify and really just made us feel heard. You don’t see that kind of customer service that often and so I am truly thankful to Evan and all his employees. This is why I shop at Lowe’s and not other competitor's. If you want better quality products and service Lowe’s is the way to go!

I was impressed by Scott’s professionalism, sense of humor, and awesome customer service! He went above and beyond to help me load up my truck with bags of garden soil. His pleasant attitude, and work ethic is hard to find these days, so I hope y’all know what a gem you have in him! Lowes continues to impress me with the outstanding employees, they hire, I may need to find out their secret vetting process! Thanks all!
