  Avoid this alarm company if you can! They install ancient alarms that are faulty and randomly go off at all hours with ear-drum destroying volume. Their service department is incapable of helping. Horrible experience.

  I'm a homeowner who had a fire extinguisher serviced back when this company was under Utah Fire Equipment Co., Inc. (which was owned by Pye-Barker Fire & Safety). They were not very customer friendly back then. Nobody seemed to know how to handle my service request. But it got done in the end, and seemingly well done. But now I've reached out for another service. I couldn't find concrete information on their website so submitted a 'contact us' form asking if they'd service my extinguisher and how much it'd cost. But they blew me off and never got back to me. That's a waste of my time and feels disrespectful. I'm not even certain this place is even still in business. So now I'm going with anywhere else.

  Invoicing is subjective and rates are high. $1100 for a 30 min visit to look at one head, on a 7’ ceiling, to tell me to disconnect my fire protection system is steep. They did not drain my system or shut it down for me. Update: I had Carl from Boss Fire Protection come yesterday. He spent more time with us than Pye-Barker/Park City Fire and explained the system, that we would NOT have had more expected breaks and should have simply repaired our single head. He checked our now diconnected system to be sure it's safely shut down and encouraged me to text him if anything else comes up. Total charge: $150. I would call Boss Fire again in a minute. So much more dissapointed in Pye-Barker.

  We had a big order of fire extinguishers that needed to be serviced. Pye-Barker bent over backward to help us. Great service
