- TATed Aschenbrenner2 days ago1.0Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling. Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they are deep in the middle of this. Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc. As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction. -An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period. Timeline: -Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty. -Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install. -An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed". -Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one. -So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty. -$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile. -I will not go into other damage issues here. -Ted Aschenbrenner Manassas Virginia 20109 Keywords Below are appliances products names or contractor terms etc. that could be relevant in doing due diligence on purchasing. - LALori Ann2 days ago1.0A manager named Ryan publicly berated an associate in front of me, the customer for asking to return an item without a receipt. He said it was against policy and she should have known but then he returned the item for me without a receipt, violating his own policy. When I complained he was very dismissive and I had to repeatedly tell him it was bad for him to berate an employee in front of a customer.
- MDMike DMay 12, 20261.0I had a confirmed paint mixing error at Lowe’s Store #2275 after bringing in a previously mixed Lowe’s custom paint can that had already been successfully applied and verified in my home. The store later confirmed the associate incorrectly scaled the formula from the original sample, resulting in multiple rooms being painted the wrong color and over $800 in labor costs. While the store did provide replacement paint, I have spent weeks attempting to work with store management and customer care regarding reimbursement for the documented labor costs directly caused by the error. Despite multiple follow-ups, emails, documentation, and conversations with management, I have received little to no communication or resolution. Mistakes happen — but the complete lack of follow-through and accountability afterward has been extremely disappointing. I would NOT encourage you to shop this location. These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
