    Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling. Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they are deep in the middle of this. Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc. As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed,  To my or my wife's satisfaction. -An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period. Timeline: -Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty. -Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install. -An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed". -Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one. -So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty. -$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile. -I will not go into other damage issues here. -Ted Aschenbrenner Manassas Virginia 20109 Keywords Below are appliances products names or contractor terms etc. that could be relevant in doing due diligence on purchasing.     Rivertons garden area customer service is horrible. They save all of the great plants and bargains for their friends. They put a bunch on their clearance shelves and dont put marks on them and then treat their customers like they are lying when they tell them that they are on the clearance rack. I can understand if there was only one without a mark but there are multiple and they definitely look like they are on their last leg, however i believe everything should be given a chance. Do better.

    Leslie B I am doing Gen Maintenance for over 40 homes in the area. So I basically know every employee here and I am here several times a week, every week. Leslie is the best here. She should be running this location for sure. Fast, efficient, doesn’t waste time. Thank you

    I'm normally a Home Depot guy. I just moved, Lowe's was closer so I thought I would give them a try. Strike 1. I to try and order a fridge on thier website and the website couldn't find my address. My house is a new build, so thats fair. I call in to see if they can help. They guy in appliances was pretty short with me and told me I would need to come into the store. I have never had an issue where Home Depot couldn't resolve it over the phone. Strike 2. I go into order my fridge. The find the address place the order, the harass me about applying for a card after I tell them no multiple times. The guy was persistent so I finally accepted the card so I could just get the fridge ordered. Strike 3. We confirm the delivery date for a Wednesday. I take work off. I let them know I need to be out of my old place so I really need this fridge delivered on Wednesday. They do show up Wednesday but are unable to get my fridge up the stairs to my kitchen. So they leave it in my garage and tell me they will be vack tomorrow with more guys to help get it up the stairs. But then I get a message saying that my fridge has been delivered and thank you for my business. I call back in worried that they would not be coming back to install the fride and get it up the stairs. Then I'm told that I will have to wait until Friday, but they would call me Thursday to confim. No call back. Strike 4. I call in at 4:30 asking if they had a delivery time window so I can schedule with my work to be home for them to be able to deliver the fridge. I finally get a assistant manager who informa me that now they will not be able to get my fridge installed until Saturday. They did say they where sorry, but that doesn't really fix the food that will now go bad. If you set up a delivery with them, I don't have confidence that they will keep their commitments. So don't make plans arround thier commitments. They are no good. I have bought a lot of appliances during my life and I have had a lot of them delivered. Home Depot and Sears have done a great job. Go with them for appliances. I have zero confidence that I actually will get my fridge installed 4 days after the committed delivery date with Lowe's. But they did get me to sign up for a credit card. :)
