  Great salesperson! Wendy knows her business. She even offered to take my old pickup in trade. She sold me an electric chair and I was able to keep my truck. Very pleased with my sales encounter at the lazy boy store.

  Roxy was great and spent a lot of time helping us find what we wanted. However, we felt very deceived about delivery, which ended up tainting an otherwise good experience. When my sister asked about delivery, Roxy’s response was, “Yes, we deliver.” No mention of any fees, so no problem, right? It wasn’t until we got home and looked at receipts that we saw that there was a $300 delivery fee added, which we were never told about. I fully understand that we should have noticed and known to ask, but I feel like there should also be some responsibility on the salesperson’s part to be upfront about the delivery fee, especially when we asked about delivery. If her response would have been, “Yes, we deliver. It’s $100 per item delivered.” OR if she would have told us about the delivery fee when she was going over the pricing of each of our purchased items, then I would be leaving a 5 star review. But she never said a word about the delivery fee. You may be asking how we didn’t notice an extra $300 on the bill while we were there? My sister purchased a $12,000 couch (don’t worry, she didn’t pay that much- it was on clearance), end tables, blankets, pillows, and other accessories. Each item had to be entered by hand and then the discounts had to be entered by hand, then Roxy showed us the final price of each item and by the time that whole long process was over, we accepted the amount, which was thousands of dollars. It wasn’t until later that night that my sister realized that there was $300 delivery fee that we hadn’t noticed and had never been told about. When she called this morning she was told that it’s $100 per item delivered. Please understand that I am not in any way complaining about there being a delivery fee, although it does seem on the high side. My complaint is that we were never told about it, even though we spent a couple of hours with Roxy and there were multiple times that she should have/could have told us about it. That is what bothers me. It felt deceitful and like she purposely didn’t say anything.
