- JRJaxson Ruff5 days ago1.0VERY DECEPTIVE PRICING. My contract for a 10'x10' was $62/mo for the first 4 months (all paid upfront). 3 months in, I get a tiny note in the mail telling me that next month, my price is going up to $124/mo. When I called in to see whether that was an error, they immediately dropped me down to $93/mo with zero hassle. Online pricing for the unit shows $84/mo. This is all on top of a pretty awful onboarding experience where they assigned me a unit that appeared to be occupied when I arrived. No onsite staff were available to help. I called them for help, they said they'd call me back and never did. I called again 30 minutes later and they assigned me to a different unit. No apologies, no credits, nothing. I saw someone else wrote a similar review to mine, and Extra Space responded asking him to call in to discuss his concerns. That seems like a poor way to handle things. It seems to me that the only way to discourage this predatory pricing is for enough of us to complain loudly enough to scare away potential customers.

Since the storage units changed ownership, I have only had a good experience with management. Whenever I had an issue come up they had been quick to work with me and ensure that I continued to have just as good an experience as they could manage. And I couldn't be more appreciative of their efforts. I don't know if they fully appreciate how they've managed to make my experience better than just a good one. I can't recommend Extra Space Storage highly enough.

She answered all my questions and made me feel valued through every interaction I had with her. I never felt like I was an inconvenience even though I knew I had several questions. She was very easy to work with and for that reason I would recommend her store to anyone. You’ll be treated great and she’ll be in excellent communication with you when you need it. 10/10.
