I contacted Extra Space Storage in Pleasant Grove, Utah and spoke with Irene to help me with renting a storage unit. She was more than helpful and very pleasant. I also spoke with Ian to get a lock returned since I had brought my own lock and he took care of it for me. Both Irene and Ian are wonderful people and I appreciate their help. A great place to store your things, very clean and organized!

Signing up was quick and simple. The associate was able to find a unit close to me that met my requirements, and let me know ahead of time that I could prorate the extra days to save me a ton of money.
Move in directions were clear and we had no problems.
The property is clean and secure.

Be advised that if you use them for longer term storage they will put a huge hike on the prices periodically with almost no warning. (technically they mail you something that looks like junk mail and will likely get thrown away). If you catch it in time you can keep it from going up as quickly, but otherwise they'll just keep shafting you more and more.
I'm told this is common in the industry, so take that for what it is. I have nothing against the place itself, but I have major issues with what I consider shady business practices - and if everyone in the industry does it that just means they all use shady practices, it isn't an excuse.
The facility is fine; their service people are great. The company "Extra Space Storage" is the problem

Talon is a very nice man and is always very helpful when I talk to him.
But if you are interested in a long-term storage unit, please keep in mind that the rates do increase. Mine went up double after 5 months. I moved out of state with no way to move my things out of my unit until February so the new rate has placed a strain on me.
It would be great if storage companies would not increase prices on the customers who use their storage units long term.
