Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling.
Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they
are deep in the middle of this.
Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc.
As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction.
-An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period.
Timeline:
-Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty.
-Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install.
-An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed".
-Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one.
-So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty.
-$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile.
-I will not go into other damage issues here.

This is my go to home center. It used to be home depot. But ever since they changed to full self checkouts, and went from having experience grey beards to now having teenagers that have to search for answers on their phone, i prefer lowes a lot more. I just wish they had a rental center. I reluctantly have to go back to home depots for rentals. Layout is nice. My boyfriend appreciates that the lumber yard has it's own entrance/registers. Even has a covered loading area. Especially handy for bigger project in the dead of summer or winter. We also do a lot of curbside which is very nice as well, though there can be confusion for larger orders where they call and ask us to go to the lumber yard parking instead of the curbside parking. They really need to fix that on their app. Put a "curbside parking #10-12" at the lumber yard area.
All in all, very happy with lowes.

Overall, this location is well-stocked, clean, and organized. The employees are professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. I’m consistently asked if I need help finding anything, which I appreciate and generally can find an employee to help.
The reason I’m giving four stars is that some items were incorrectly matched with a sale sign, so they rang up at full price which was significantly higher than expected. That was frustrating, but the two employees at checkout (I didn’t catch their names) were kind and understanding which improved the experience.
I also strongly dislike that there is only self-checkout.

DO NOT order anything for delivery from this Lowe’s. I ordered a washer and dryer set from them on 4/11 they stated they did not have any in stock at the store and will be delivered 4/17. On 4/17 my washer arrived but my dryer did not. I called and after 2 hours they finally said they do not know what happened to my dryer. They never ordered it. said I will have to wait another week for the dryer to get in. I had to take off work to accept this delivery. Now I have to take another day off work due to their delivery windows. Do yourself a favor and shop at Home Depot.
