  We bought a microwave that had the whole right side bashed in once we opened the box . The dent was the size of a human head and about 3-4 inches deep ! We were thinking they’d let us swap it for a new one or refund our money since it wasn’t usable and not our fault . Plus , it had only been 4-5 days since we bought it . The manager lady there was super rude and wouldn’t allow us to exchange it ! We were told it was past the 48 hour window for appliances. She told us we should try to use it with the side bashed in , which is dangerous and stupid since we paid for a BRAND NEW one . She told us to try another Lowe’s , which is dumb because we live in Sevierville ! Then she started whispering to one of the workers in a hateful tone about us before we were even out of earshot ! For a store to have a measly 48 hour return window is absolutely ridiculous in the first place. But to be rude to a customer who opened a supposedly brand new microwave only to find it completely bashed in on the side and refuse to even swap it for another one is horrid ! I will never buy any tools or appliances there again. We had an issue returning some faulty tools there several years ago that were well within the return frame and got the runaround. We’d even bought their useless protection plan and they still told us we had to wait a full year until the factory warranty had run out before they could do anything. We’d only had the tools for a week and the nail gun and compressor were both giving us trouble ( it was a Dewalt set ) . Back to the microwave issue. We’d have been out $261 had we not taken it to Lowe’s on Chapman Hwy in south Knoxville. They happily refunded our money and we got a brand new microwave with the money . The staff at south Knoxville Lowe’s told me they didn’t understand why the Sevierville manager had refused to let us swap the microwave because all they had to do was scan the receipt and it allowed them to refund our money right then . I almost took the money to Home Depot to buy the new microwave. But since South Knoxville Lowe’s staff was so kind to me , I went ahead and bought a new one there . But from now on , I will just steer clear of Sevierville Lowe’s . I usually shop at Home Depot anyway cuz they’re more friendly and helpful there . Only got the microwave at Lowe’s because they still had the sale going on the one I wanted . Just a warning to anyone wanting appliances! Remember that they have a ridiculous 48 hour return policy on them at Lowe’s and Home Depot’s is much more generous 90 day return policy or a year for pro accounts . I wish I’d known about the 48 hour policy for Lowe’s . We got busy with work and waited 4-5 days to open the box . But who’d expect a place to be so stingy with the return window ? If you have to return anything to Lowe’s and see a grumpy middle aged woman with long silverish hair , wait til a day she’s not working or make the trip to South Knox. She was wanting to go to lunch that day and that’s probably why she was grumpy and not wanting to let us return it . She was huffy acting the moment we saw her and had told the clerk trying to help us that she was ready to go to lunch grumpily and asked him ,” What’s the problem?! I’m trying to go to lunch!” . She made me have to waste half a day if work taking that microwave all the way to Chapman Hwy . Whoever her supervisor is needs to have a nice long talk with her . I was even told over the phone by a Sevierville Lowe’s employee that I could exchange the microwave with no issues and was so shocked to have to deal with that rotten lady . That store isn’t adhering to the Lowe’s policies. Can’t believe she expected us to keep that broken microwave and even suggested we try to use it like that . It probably would’ve leaked radiation or burned our house down . Lowe’s lost another customer thanks to her . We have a small construction business. So we buy lots of tools and materials. I don’t write bad reviews thoughtlessly . I’m not one of those nit picky customers who finds fault with everything.

  Every time I use the order pick up, it is never ready when I arrive. Today they lost my order and had to go search for a new one. I use order pick up to save time, which it only extends my day. I left with no order today. My time, my fuel wasted. I don't have time for a few days to go back and get it now. Terrible service, terrible store. Embarrassing part is, it was only one item.

  Went to Lowe’s to buy an air conditioner. All of them had damage to fins they would not give a discount on one . I was willing to buy air conditioner for full price no damage. Not pay full for damaged . Thanks Sevierville Lowe’s .

  If I could leave no stars I would. The parking lot was empty first sign. Only employee I saw was the lady working out in the garden center. Walked to the department in plumbing still no signs of any employees. Looked up and down the plumbing section with a picture off of a screenshot from Lowe’s website. Can’t find it anywhere. Go looking towards the other end of the store found a senior citizen looking for help too. We walk up to the registers and who do we find 4 men employees talking, not working just standing and talking. I walk up to them said I’ve been all over the store and you are the first employee I had to hunt down. This was also the manager. Other was another kind of manager. I showed him my picture told him I looked. He got the part number from my phone and said we don’t carry this pipe??? What it says you do???? No. But I can sell you a heat gun so you can make one. I said no I come here for this little pipe. I looked at him dumbfounded, no I’m sorry, no I can call the next Lowe’s for you. Nothing. Older gentleman was mad at his issue. I went to Home Depot 1/3 mile away looked on line, told me aisle number and what section it was in. in and out in five minutes came across two employees that asked if I needed help. On my way out they told me thank you and have a good day. The parking lot was pretty full and now I know why.

  I have a stackable washer and dryer. My washer went crazy so I am trying to get another one but (per Lowes rules and the mounting bracket not compatible) they can't install. Everything has to be new. So I went to Lowe's to order a dryer. The next thing I know they are delivering another washer. Lesson learned always check receipt before leaving the store.
