This place is pathetic. They use the old adage we don’t have staff but I see plenty of staff just standing around talking to see other. Not bothering to ask if people need help. It’s taken over 3 hours for a pick up order and it’s still not ready? Maybe one of the employees standing around could go get it.

We had a pipe burst under our kitchen sink. I got to the store 10 minutes before close. The girl.at.the service desk directed me to the isle. Other employees walked past looking at me , but too busy to try and help me find the part I need and get out before close. I looked until they turned the lights off. On my way out not a single person stopped to say did you find what you need, let me unlock the doors for you. Nothing. So now we have no available water in our kitchen until I can get to Home Depot tomorrow instead of going to work. I'll just check there first from now on. Maybe they're a little more customer minded.

I had an absolutely terrible experience ordering a washer and dryer set with pedestals totaling nearly $2,400. The washing machine arrived completely inoperable, so a replacement had to be scheduled immediately.
Despite making it very clear that I needed a MORNING delivery window, I received a delivery notification at 3 AM for a time that did not work at all. It then took well over an hour on the phone just to reach someone capable of changing the delivery date. Even then, they could not provide any guaranteed time frame for the replacement delivery.
To make matters worse, I called back within 30 minutes to see if they could simply keep the original delivery since my replacement washer was already on the truck, and suddenly I was told it was “impossible.” I was also informed that my washing machine would just sit on the truck overnight until they decided to deliver it the next day.
So now I’m stuck without a working washing machine, unable to plan my day because they refuse to provide a reliable delivery time, and they didn’t even include the pedestals I paid for — meaning they’ll have to come back AGAIN for another installation appointment.
For a $2,400 purchase, this level of incompetence, poor communication, and complete lack of customer care is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend shopping elsewhere unless you enjoy wasting time, dealing with endless phone calls, and being left without functioning appliances.

Staff is unhelpful, tried to do an over the phone sale and lumber and the cashier. Jennifer refused to help me. She said it was because she didn't want her line to back up, but there was literally not a single person anywhere near checkout. It would have taken 2 minutes to do it over the phone sale. Instead she canceled my order. Put all my stuff back in the bucket and sent me to customer service where there was a line.

The new automated system is a joke, and quite frankly the employees are not much better. If not for a single employee named Celia who was finally able to help me, I was within seconds of canceling my order entirely and swearing off Lowes as an option forever.
The sheer frustration of telling an AI over and over and over again that I need to speak to someone in customer service is bad enough.. and then a total of 20 rings before an associate even picks up the phone? 3 different calls, 3 transfers to the "fulfillment desk" who don't bother to answer the phone at all resulting in 10-20 minute hold times before hanging up and calling back again because it takes over 3 hours to get a microwave from the back of the store to the front of the store for a curbside pickup after driving an hour to do the pickup.
Celia deserves a raise. Every other employee I had to dance with over the last 3 hours needs a refresher course in basic common sense customer service... especially when the customer is ready and willing to walk back to appliances and get the item off the shelf himself just so he get what he paid for and make the hour long drive back home at 9 pm on a work night.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
