- TWTracy WulfJun 6, 20262.0We received our 2 scoops of river rock and we were amazed at how small the scoops were. Unbelievable that we paid over $350. for not enough rock for our small project. Do not go to Out of Eden - there is a good chance you won’t get your money’s worth.
- GDGeorge DoddsMay 24, 20261.0I've used many landscape installation companies in the Knoxville area during the past 25 years. I've never used one with such a clear pattern of incompetence and and refusal to correct egregious errors and omissions as "Out of Eden". Sadly, I discovered far too late they are notorious in the landscaping community. They installed the kind of thick black "landscape fabric" used by the TDOT for roadside or under-hardscape installations for my planting beds, killing all of my existing dormant shrubs and ground cover; they installed a stone curb along my driveway (by someone who had never done masonry work before) without any secure footing so you could push over the curb with your hand, but the owner at the time, a Mr. McCarty, refused to fix it because he said "the workers said you liked it"; his crew showed up on side to reestablish a new retaining wall, but arrived with NO equipment of any kind. I had to lend them my own. In the end they never built the retaining wall. Instead, they raised the level of the ground, resulting in the death of an existing skip laurel hedge. I tried to monitor them as best I could, but I was not being paid for my services. It was the singularly worst landscape experience of my 5 decades of working with landscape contractors.
