Lowe’s appliance installation has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever dealt with. What was supposed to be a two‑week process dragged into six weeks, with zero accountability. I asked four different times for two installers — which I paid for — and they still sent only one. The installer acknowledged the note in the system requesting two installers, but said they still only scheduled one.
The installer couldn’t get the dryer into my basement alone, and instead of fixing the issue, he was prepared to leave it behind. I ended up putting on furniture straps and helping him move it myself.
Even after all that, the dryer was installed incorrectly. When I called Lowe’s for resolution, they refused to give me a firm appointment date to fix the issue. Instead, they demanded three separate days during the week with a four‑hour window, and they will call me in a few days with what works for them. This is completely unreasonable for anyone who works.
To top it off, the dryer they delivered is already making noise and not functioning properly.
This entire experience has been unprofessional, inconvenient, and far below the standard Lowe’s advertises. I will not be using their installation or buying an appliance from Lowe's again.

Nathan in painting and Christal in Gardening were phenomenal! They helped me with all my needs!! I bought a can of paint instead of spray paint to fix a problem I had in my closet with shelves, & in the gardening section Christal helped me with all my gardening questions and needs! Shoutout to these 2 and my lovely neighborhood Lowe’s!!

Bought a new fridge and paid for express shipping. They showed up after the delivery window with a fridge covered in dents (dents were covered in foam packaging in very scamlike behavior). I rejected the fridge and they left the house with my back door still removed from the hinges just propped up against the wall. After calling and getting hung up on a million times, they offered to come back with a new fridge 2 days later. Guess what? They didn’t. Waited all day two work days. Newborn baby has been crying and needs formula. They used some clown show company called Spirit Logistics. Stay away from Lowe’s. They have changed.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
