I summoned an employee for help as he was walking by because I was trying to find an item. He VERY rudely walked right past me without even slowing down and said he was busy. This is the last time I will spend my money at this store. On a side note, I stopped another employee to assist me and he was very helpful.

I don't want to have to write this review, as there may be many other good aspects about this store and its employees of which I am unfamiliar. However, I had a poor enough experience with them that I feel others need to know about.
In this case, I had put in a supply order for delivery in early May. The closest delivery time was nine days out (already unfortunate, but I understand it may be a time of high volume). Lowe's confirmed multiple times with me that the order was supposed to arrive, all the way up to the day before. I had taken off work an extra day the upcoming weekend for the project. Then I got an mail late in the afternoon the day before saying my delivery had been rescheduled an additional nine days out--no explanation or anything.
I called that evening and politely asked for an explanation of the situation. The reason they delayed the order was simply because one item could not be fulfilled on time (not sure why they couldn't try to reconfigure things with me). I worked it out with them to cancel that item and they were able to reschedule the order for two days out. I was satisfied.
Again I got all of the confirmations that the delivery was coming. Then Lowe's emailed me AGAIN the day before saying my order was pushed out nine days. This time, when I called, the explanation was simply that it had been put on the wrong truck, and there was nothing that could be done. So that basically killed our whole weekend plans and my day off work was wasted because this location wasn't either competent or concerned enough to follow through on what they communicate.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
