I called asked availability and was assured the items were in stock and if for any reason they couldn’t fine them ( very large item that’s too large to misplace) they would call me since the order we had delivered from them was missing 1 large item and 2 were wrong, we were going to just buy the 2 correct items and keep the wrong ones to give away or whatever later.
I was assured the items would be at order pickup. I then drive 40 plus miles to walk into a very empty store and no one in the store was the least bit concerned with helping me. Employees at customer service were complaining about their job and being there. I went to pickup area and they had no idea about the item, I then go look for myself to find out there was no shelf tag for the items I needed. Still no one to help,
I ho to self checkout asked for a manager, he told the guy on phone tell her to wait and he would come in a bit. I wait 35 minutes and asked again to be told by manager to tell her ( me) talk to customer service which was the first person I tried to get help from to start with .
No items picked up, no help, terrible experience.
Empty package lot at 530 pm should have told me there may be a problem
This lot would be a great place to put a home improvement warehouse .

I drive to west Columbia on number1. Orangeburg store is unbearable. Between the theft in the parking lot and the lack of inventory and knowledge its actually faster for any of my projects to not go there. My sanity stays intact

There simply has to be a better choice for managers of this store and there must be a better delivery company to do deliveries for Lowe’s as a whole. No one can get anything done to correct a mistake that they have made. 20 sheets of damaged Sheetrock I’m paying extra to have installed because they can’t bring the 20 sheets of good ones that the delivery guy promised. I was shifted around from department to department for over an hour. Order #: 300901181262115126.

I had to visit the Orangeburg Lowe’s recently and I was so impressed with the Customer Service Return desk as well as with self check out assistance. Shalynn at the customer service desk went above and beyond to help me with my order. Heaven at self checkout was unbelievably helpful as she exceeded her job description by taking the time to help me transfer money from my bank to my Apple Pay so that I could stay in the credit card self check out line. I was having a really difficult day and these ladies were just wonderful to me. I’m thankful to meet such caring people who were devoted to helping the customer.
