I give Cathy at extra Space Storage on Center St Extension Mt Pleasant SC way more than 5 stars. I have never been treated more professionally and with a sincere desire to help me. Her customer service went way beyond what is normally expected. No. 1… she stopped what she was doing cleaning and checking the entire lot to take me to the office and walk me through how to get my account straightened out. I was upset due to my email and many accounts being hacked. She was patient and calm and so positive and helpful. She represented Extra Space Storage so professionally and with great expertise. When I left I felt like she was a friend who was there for me when I needed help. I didn’t even realize how stressed I was until her calming personality and genuine friendly care put a smile on my face. All of my issues were addressed and taken care of in a short period of time. I have seen her since then, always out cleaning and taking care of the outside and inside areas. Always smiling and helping the clients and being friendly. She is an example of how all employees should represent their businesses 🩷 Thank you Cathy!! I appreciate you and am thankful!

So I wanted a storage unit on Sunday and they were closed so I went online and they got me in right away and the key was in the unit very convenient highly recommend this place Cathy was there on Monday and she was very nice

This place is TERRIBLE. I would not recommend to anyone and would give zero stars if I could. All units are completely infested with rats. We could actually see their feet moving above our head through the tattered/torn insulation that never gets repaired (see pics attached). All of our stuff was covered in rat feces. If rats aren't bad enough our unit was also infested with mud dauber wasps (see nests in pics) which would come out and fly around everytime we opened the unit. To make matters even worse, the price gouging at this place is criminal. They get you in at a teaser rate and then send you a letter literally 3-4 times a year saying your monthly unit rental price will be increasing unilaterally by $30-$40, it's ridiculous. We cancelled our unit. This place is gross you will see rat traps all over the property that apparently don't work because they're alive and well inside the units.
