- BCBrigitte Chapman1 day ago4.0I rented a unit in May of 2025.I got a nice, a/c controlled unit and it was clean and easy to get to. Within 4 months, I got a notice that the cost for the unit had had almost DOUBLED, "based on market evaluations". In May of 2026, I got another notice that it was going up yet again. I looked online and saw the rental rate for my my size unit was around $64, so I went to the office to tell them I wanted to move my existing unit to one of the units for the current rate; they honored my request to pay $64 a month without me having to move to another unit. Beware of the notices you get in the mail; the manager told me they are sent by the corporate office but the corporate office doesn't tell the local facilities of the rate increases, it happens automatically. You can negotiate your rate if you get these notices in the mail. I wish I had known this before I paid $117 a month for eight months prior, and they did not offer a credit.
