This company keeps sending people to my door now two days in a row, ringing my doorbell multiple times while I have a no soliciting sign posted on the door… leave me the **** alone! If I wanted your services, I would contact you!!!!

Ringing our doorbell that clearly has a "no soliciting" sign RIGHT on the door while our children are trying to nap is not the way to get customers. We actually do need pest control but will not be using this company. My husband didn't answer because he was putting the kids to sleep and SHE RANG THE DOORBELL AGAIN.
UPDATE: They replied to this review telling me to email them with more info - when I did they asked for my address to add me to a "no knock" list. Maybe instead of a "no knock" list you all should just train your employees not to ignore No Solicitation signs...

The Aptive representatives (Paul and Jared) who explained the extetminating service and who performed my initial service were cordial and professional. They could answer all of my questions and were able to successfully set up the business aspects. I look forward to the positive results of my trusted commitment.

This was our first experience with the company and it went very well. Sarah provided amazing customer service along with excellent extermination. I would like to add that the safe spray does not work for the fire ants at our place, maybe because we have the extra strong ones. 😅 Also thank you for a great price which is so much better on our budget compared to ClearDefense. Their prices are way to high.

Do not get Aptive!!!!! They are just out to get your money!!! They gave one treatment and it did not work. We called to cancel the service and they said they would send someone out to spray one more time to rectify the situation and if we did not like the second go around then they would release us from the contract without a cancellation fee. They never showed up for the rectification. So we had to go ahead and cancel our services. If I could give the less than 1 star I would. Beware of the guy on the Segway.

Is Aptive pest control safe?

What pests do you treat?

Aptive otherwise does not treat any wood-destroying organisms such as termites, carpenter bees, or carpenter ants. Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
