Here we are another two weeks later from my last review. I was told by Johna (not sure spelled correctly) on June 5th she would give me a call back in 15 minutes regarding my refund for installation that they never did! I waited over an hour for her call until I decided to call back. Now she was unavailable. The customer service rep knew who I was because of my phone number! THATS HOW MANY TIMES IVE CALLED ABOUT MY REFUND!! She proceeds to say, “if this is about your refund it has been issued and will take 3-5 business days to get back to your bank!” I asked are you sure it was refunded? She tells me “yep!” I accepted it for what it was worth! Two weeks later, STILL NOTHING! I called my bank to see if there were any pending refunds, nothing! I call them back today and everyone is confused! I will NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME IN LOWES NORTH PROVIDENCE! Not sure why it’s been such a hassle to receive my money for something that was THEIR FAULT! Their customer service sucks! Their communication sucks. This has been going on since the end of May! A MONTH LATER! It’s unacceptable and really bad service! So, now I have to take more time out of the day to stop inside of the Lowe’s on Mineral Spring so they can’t avoid me by not answering or calling back! Absurd!!!

While updating my bathroom, I decided to have Lowes install my new vanity light. At first everything seemed to be going well. I scheduled my installation through the service Lowes uses. On the date of installation, I waited around during the time frame window with no show. I finally decided to call, and they told me the "pro" cancelled with no explanation. I agreed to reschedule to the following Friday. On Thursday I realized I have not received a confirmation, so I called again. There was no "pro" available for the appointment next day. They asked if I would like to reschedule or cancel and get refunded. I opted to be refunded. It has been over a week now and Lowes on Mineral Spring Ave in North Providence has given me the run around with my refund. They say my order was "completed" when it in fact was not. I know they do not have control over the "pros" but not making it easy for someone to get a refund because no one knows "how to reverse it" makes absolutely no sense. Quick to take the money but cannot figure out how to give it back. I live between Lowes and the "other home improvement" store, think I'll start heading the opposite way as opposed to going down Mineral Spring.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
