Had a timer that the website said was in stock, went to the Cranston location to pick up, got there and couldn't find it. Asked for help from 2 different individuals that couldn't speak a word of English and they both pointed me in different direction. I then went to customer service and the lady told me someone would meet me in isle 11. Waited there for 15 minutes before walking back to customer service just to have the same lady ignore me. Walked away from from her and asked a different associate if I could speak to the manager and that lady told me there was "no manager currently on" what is going on? It's like I was in the twilight zone.

I deleted my account, which is unfortunate. Lowes has always dealt fairly with me but ongoing delivery problems, including the most recent, just led me to 'that's enough.' I ordered, and paid for, next day delivery. I normally stay at home when I expect a package because of porch pirates, especially lately in my area. The delivery drivers leave things on the front steps in full view of the public (and cannot be bothered to push open the porch door, which is the next step up and leave the package out of sight), so I sit at home and track my delivery. Yesterday they delivered someone else's merchandise early in the morning. My items went to another customer. I called the Cranston, RI store. I spoke to Stephanie who did the best she could to assist, however, the driver did not answer her calls, neither did the customer who took the items. The driver also did not respond to phone calls from the company who hired him. That company called Lowes but she said she got 'disconnected' and when I asked her if she tried calling back, the answer was no. I called Lowes Corporate customer service; she told me to hold on...then transferred me back to Lowes Cranston. I also contacted Marvin Ellison, CEO who forwarded the inquiry to an Executive Customer Service rep at the corporate office (Britany). After 2 days of phone calls, emails and complaints to the BBB, I finally got my merchandise at 12pm today. Left on the front steps. No communication that it was even there. For a billion dollar company, the fact that they were nitpicking over a small order boggles my mind. They knew I paid for it. I returned the item that was delivered by mistake (the driver came just before 5pm last night. ((Mind you, the order was delivered at 8:53am so the whole day was spent watching for my items because of porch pirates. Back and forth of walking to my door, all day)). He banged on my door and when I asked 'Can I help you?' Raised his finger, said "Wait a minute", and then for about 4 minutes proceeded to scroll on his phone in silence. I finally asked 'CAN I HELP YOU??' Then he told me he was there to pick up the wrong item and would be back with mine. That was the last I saw of him...he never came back. I found out the next day that the people who had my items didn't answer the door). Lowes knew the other customer kept items that did not belong to them. Lowes should have sent replacement items instead of making me jump through hoops for parts of 2 days. I mean, what were they waiting for? Plus, they did not offer a refund for my delivery fee (which is nominal and I really do not care about...it's the principal). This is the 3rd incident in a month and a half so I decided that enough is enough. Which is too bad because I liked the idea of their delivery service but the execution and relying on 3rd party drivers who go incommunicado just isn't worth the aggravation. Shout out to Stephanie at the Cranston location. She really did try to help but was hampered by the driver, the other customer and the driver's company who were not responsive.
