  We contacted Lowe’s about having a fence installed. They sub the work to a company called Ergeon near Philadelphia Pa. We called Ergeon and had an appt set up for a video call. I work nights but stayed up to do the call. They didn’t call. Almost 40 mins later I received a text saying it was cancelled. I tried to call to speak to someone and the lady who answered told me nobody was available. About a week later someone contacted me from Ergeon saying they were sorry and we set up another appt. The appt went through and we made a payment for half of the amount due which was almost $8,000 for 278 linear ft of fencing. We were told an installer would come take measurements and talk to us. We received an email from Lowe’s with a different time than what we were told so we tried to contact Ergeon. 4 texts to a number they told us to text for questions and 2 calls and no response. Finally a guy text saying he would call within the hour, no call. 2 days later we contacted Lowe’s who contacted Ergeon who finally called us. The guy who called was rude and said, well I was dealing with customers. We told him all we wanted was a confirmation of the time since we received conflicting times, which would have taken a few seconds. An installer from a different co called Innovation Fence came out and everything went fine. They came to install the fence and the first half was done by another co. then Innovation did the rest. We paid the remaining almost $8,000. Within a week a whole section of the fence blew down. The guy from Innovation came out and fixed it, he forgot to put a notch in the panel. Three separate times the post caps blew off and we had to chase them all over our neighbor’s yards. 2 got broken in the road behind our house, 1 we couldn’t find, and several others were in neighbor’s yards… We tried to contact Ergeon and Innovation and received no response. Lowe’s gave us a number to Installation Made Easy, who tried to contact Ergeon. We had to purchase several online and have them siliconed on. We also had to adjust the gate in the back because it was running when opened and closed. This entire job has been a run around and a huge mess, with absolutely HORRIBLE customer service from all involved! We paid $15,000+ for low quality fence pieces, so so installation, and a terrible hassle! We also had to pay an additional $350 to have dirt removed. Do yourself a favor and call Direct Fence, they are much cheaper and the fence panels are much nicer and higher quality. They did our son’s fence right down the street for WAY less and zero issues! We turned down Direct Fence and went with Lowe’s because we thought we could trust them. The most responses we have received is asking if we would remove negative reviews, which are totally honest! Run from these guys seriously Lowe’s you have Eargeon which then hires innovative and then they hire a partner of theirs so what is that four or five of you that are dipping your hands in the pot for one job seriously? And when the job goes south nobody wants accountability for it. Go figure 15,000+ dollar Fence job. Nice service Lowe’s great 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

  I like the Lowe's store layout, but everything else is dropping in quality. Nobody available,nobody pickup the phone in there department. Alot of things unavailable to order online or in store and when you order have to return something mixed with old parts wasting my time. Than when you buy things the quality looks bad cut corners. I will checkout the home depot other places.

  Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience at this location. I visited around 9:30 PM and couldn't find the item I was looking for, as the app failed to show the aisle location. I asked an employee for assistance, and he told me he would send someone over to help. Nobody ever appeared. After waiting, I asked a second employee, who also told me to wait for someone who never showed up. I ultimately had to leave empty-handed. Between the lack of available staff and the unhelpful app, it was a complete waste of time. There are plenty of other options nearby, and I will be taking my business to a different store from now on.

  Horrible experience. I placed a special-order metal roofing order and was told to expect delivery in about two weeks. After waiting, the order was never delivered. When I visited another store to investigate, I discovered that the Whitehall branch had NEVER even SUBMITTED the order to the vendor. After a second attempt to place the order, I received delivery completion notice, but the metal roofing panels had not arrived without any notification. Now I am being told to wait another two weeks, resulting in a third delay. This has caused significant disruption to my project and reflects a serious lack of communication and order management. I expected much better service and accountability.
