- FRfrank ray6 days ago5.0Maryum at the contractor check out is awesome. She offered her assistance multiple times during my visit and was extremely informative as to what the company had to offer. I have been a contractor for decades and have seen my fair share of big box store employees trying to get by doing the bare minimum. Maryum stood out by taking pride in her position. She explained in gret detail the benefits that Lowes had to offer to contractors such as myself without being pushy. She went above and beyond to genuinely help. Maryum, these 5 stars are for you!

I'm usually able to get what I need, altho I have to work at it pretty hard sometimes. In general, the staff is usually not very helpful, sometimes very unhelpful. I feel sorry for the folks that actually do their job there having to carry the weight of others. Today was an online order for one single item. Everything that could go wrong with a transaction did, literally. The check-out total was $38. I was actually charged $51. I didn't receive any notification via email or text that the order was ready. I tried to just cancel the order and A.I. told me it couldn't be canceled, and it had already been picked up. I called the store 3 times; put on hold for 13 minutes, called back; immediately hung up on by the store on the 2nd call; then given the wrong information about the order on the 3rd call. Each time I called the store I had to go through the A.I. system. After all of the phone calls failed to tell me anything about the status of the order, I had to physically go to the store and talk to someone in leadership to try and resolve the problem. I then had to further call customer care to resolve the paper-trail left by the original order. It all was inexcusable. Again, it was for one... single... item.

For your protection, only the cardholder or an authorized user of the credit card may pick up the order.

Most (but not all) items can be returned within 90 days. If you bought something from Lowes.com, you can start a return online in your Order History before shipping it back to us. It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
