- DTDiana TraxlerApr 13, 20261.0Do not use this store to replace counter tops. One of the worst experiences I have ever had with any contractor. The company they use to complete the services is entirely incompetent. To begin with the guy that surveyed my counters failed to inform me that there will be a two inch gap from where my counter ends and my tile on my wall begins and did not include a backsplash in 26 inches of counter. Their solution- to charge me more money to put an additional piece of backsplash on to cover it up but since there were so many problems they decided not to charge for that. This should have been addressed during the site survey. Additionally, the edge I ordered was a single-bevel. The counter top they brought was a 90 degree edge. The installation technician had their pants down so low that the one man’s entire bare butt-cheeks were exposed for the entire installation. They did not cut the one slab correctly which did not allow enough space for my fridge to fit back into its space normally . This resulted in the one technician forcing/slamming my fridge into this smaller space damaging my wall, denting my fridge and my freezer wouldn’t even pull open. They never told me about the damage and I had to bring it to their attention to which they said they would have to return to shave down the edge. Upon inspection, the brand new sink they installed was covered in deep scratches. The company was notified and told me that they could fix it and do the plumbing for the sink no problem. Fast forward to the return trip— crew comes out to shave down edge and replace sink. Crew has no knowledge of sink replacement or that they would need to do the plumbing to unhook/hook up garbage disposal and faucet. Company has someone bring them a sink to the same appointment. All seemed to be over with until I discovered that my sink is leaking from the crew not hooking it back up correctly. Overall this has been a terrible experience and I would not recommend to use Lowe’s if you are replacing your counters.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
