  Needed a new power chair / recliner for my elderly mother. Tyler and Kerry were both very helpful name explains the different chair option and went over what to expect on delivery and how to make sure the chair is delivered and set up correctly.

  The store hours posted were 10AM-7PM. I arrived at 6:24 PM to take a look at the selection but the store was closed and locked. I don’t mind coming during normal hours but the advertised hours should match the hours the store is actually open.

  I still have very mixed feelings about this chair . It is the Vail, for folks 5’3” and under. It is extremely loud and catches and thumps when lowering the foot rest. It is very hard to completely raise the foot rest without going through a number of counter- intuitive steps. My mom is strong but can’t get the hang of it and hurt her arm. Also, it walks backward considerably in the course of the day, due to the thumping, and has already scratched my floor. I asked for a service call. A virtual one was provided. The gentleman ordered a house call. The serviceman was very good but said this chair could not be adjusted and all that could be done was to lubricate it with a lithium spray, which he did. There was only a temporary reprieve before it became a mechanical Clunker again . It just seems to me that it should be able to be adjusted to flow smoothly like the one in the showroom that I tried out. If not, then I think it was not made correctly. I do understand that it takes time, but I never have seen one so obviously ornery when new. My Mom is 92 and is @5’2”. I had hoped for a really nice chair for her as she lives with me. Oh well. Restocking fee of $300 to return it so will make do. But I don’t think Lazy Boy is All That it used to be. The folks in the showroom were very nice. The folks on the phone were very nice, and the repairman was very professional. But they can only do so much if the product is not well- made.
