- JEJohn EdmisterMay 10, 20261.0Ordered a new grill/smoker for curbside pickup yesterday, and, still "in progress" today. So much for a nice mother's day dinner with fresh, home smoked meat. Very disappointed in the way the nations biggest hardware store has gone downhill the past few years.
- NNNick84Apr 22, 20261.0Recently ordered a refrigerator. Was scheduled to be delivered Wednesday the upcoming week. Randomly changed delivery for the following Monday. Showed out for delivery, then got a call late in the afternoon saying they needed to reschedule. I told them it said out for delivery and they said they weren't sure see if it shows up. Didn't show up. After multiple phone calls got it delivered that Wednesday. Had paid for haul away of old but they left it. Now multiple phone calls in trying to get it resolved, when I call I just get bounced around the store eventually ending up on a ringing phone that nobody answers.

Only when I become frustrated do they want to assist with self-checkout. Self checkout is a huge turn off for me when I have a cart full of items. So I resort to ordering online and picking up my order when complete. But then I have to wait for 7 days to receive one missing item from my pick up order. Was told "oh we had to order from the vendor, it wasn't in the store." Why would the website say it was available in store, if it wasn't? I feel as if Lowes has wiped out the little mom and pop stores that actually cared about their customers, only to be the big bully who doesn't care about anything besides the bottom line.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
