I never leave negative reviews, but this experience has been beyond frustrating.
I purchased a brand-new Hotpoint gas range from Lowe’s at the end of June and specifically informed the store that it needed to be converted for propane before installation. When the installers arrived, the conversion had not been done, and I had to wait over two days for a contractor to come out and complete it. Because of that delay, I didn’t even have a working stove until about day three after delivery.
Not long after installation, I learned that the stove had a broken part that had been leaking propane into my home. An independent technician diagnosed the issue, and I had to pay for a service call just to find out that my brand-new appliance was defective.
Trying to get help from Lowe’s has been just as disappointing as the defective stove. I’ve been on the phone for hours, most of that time being on hold, and when I did reach customer service I was transferred from one representative to another—about seven people in total—only to be given the runaround and ultimately disconnected without any resolution. At one point, when I asked to complete a customer service survey, the call was ended abruptly.
What made the situation even more frustrating is that every person I spoke with kept telling me it was “past the 48-hour return policy,” even though I didn’t even have a fully functioning stove within that timeframe due to the installation and propane conversion delays.
I repeatedly asked to have my case escalated and requested contact information for a district manager or corporate office, but I was unable to get meaningful assistance.
At this point, I still don’t have the issue resolved. I’ve now been without a working stove for almost a week, and I’m still waiting for someone to actually take responsibility and help fix the situation.
I understand that defects can happen, but what matters is how a company responds. A propane leak inside a customer’s home is a serious safety issue, and I expected Lowe’s to take ownership of helping resolve it. Instead, I was left feeling ignored and exhausted after spending hours trying to get someone to help.
I sincerely hope Lowe’s improves both its customer service and the way it handles serious safety concerns, because no customer should have to fight this hard to get help with a defective appliance.

Antonio helped me with the doors and everything else I needed from the beginning to the end helped me bring the door even to my truck and helped me load it. I’ve never had this kind of service at Lowe’s before and it was great having him by my side to help me out.

Most people come on here to post about their bad experiences at this Lowes. I have had my issues there as well, inventory off, lack of sufficient help, but the staff that I have encounted there has always been courteous and helpful to me, especially Tiny and Frank up front.

Ran over my mailbox. Refused to correct it.
There delivery service ran over our mailbox. I called and 4 different people put me on hold for 15 minutes each. Not one relaying my message to the next one. After an hour on hold they said they'd call me back. The manager said he left a message with there delivery service but neglected to follow up with me or the service. I left messages again. I was on a 2 week military training and came back to find we couldn't get mail for 2 weeks because our mailbox was crushed. My wife was home with three young kids and couldn't do anything about it till I got home.
