  ***BUY YOUR POOL ELSEWHERE!*** Purchased a top of the line pool in 2020. Paid extra for the liner protector. Pool components were delivered in early spring of 2020 but sat for months because they had no installers available to install it, which they never mentioned when I bought it. Eventually got it installed in mid July 2020 after complaining and they finally found someone to do it. Started getting leaks after the first year and had to have truckloads of water brought in after patching them because I am on a well. Tried communicating with Pool City but they said the liner was not a warranty item unless the leaks are on the seam of the liner (Which they don't tell you when you buy it. They just say the liner has a 25 year warranty). Have had repeated leaks almost every year, including over this winter. When I went out to check the pool this spring, I noticed a big tear in the liner on the side wall. When I inspected it, there was a huge metal gouge from the outer wall poking inward which was cutting the liner. Called the store and talked to Doug Stone to express my frustration with all of the issues. He told me that I had to have hit the pool wall with something to cause the damage. Which I did not and I could not have because on the direct opposite side of that wall damage was a support beam that was covered so there's no way I could've hit it with a rock or something from the outside. Yet he kept telling me that pool walls "don't just get holes in them like that". Well, I hired a repair company (Since Pool City said their installers are all busy and could not come out to look at it until next June. You read that right, NEXT June.) and it turns out that every side support on my oval pool had metal supports called gussets that were gouging the exterior of the wall at every upright although only one had gotten to the point where it poked through the liner so far. This type of damage is only caused by either improper installation or a structural defect in the pool, and not by anybody hitting the pool with something. Labor to repair was $1600 plus the cost of a new liner which was about $700. Plus $1050 to refill the pool with water on top of all of all of the other water deliveries I have had to have since I've purchased the thing. I'm currently having to gather all of the receipts to submit to my attorney, the Better Business Bureau and WPXI consumer reports since Pool City will not do the right thing. They're only good at running your credit card information but then telling you to go pound salt if there's an issue with their products. Save yourself a lot of time, money, aggravation and accusations of damaging your own property and just buy your pool somewhere else that stands behind their product.

  Our pool was really bad when we opened it up this summer. We’ve been up to pool city at least three or four times a week and they have helped us tremendously. The pool is now blue and clear. I just wanna say that they have done a great job will always go back there.
