  Lowe’s has a great variety of products, and I can almost always find exactly what I need! They have a large selection of home improvement, tools, outdoor, and household items, making it a convenient place to get everything in one trip. The store is usually well-stocked, and it’s easy to find what you’re looking for. Definitely a great go-to store for home projects and everyday needs!

  I really hope store management recognizes what an incredible employee Kelly is, because employees like her are the reason customers keep coming back. She went above and beyond to help me today, but what makes her truly exceptional is that today wasn’t a one-time thing. Every single time I come into the store, no matter how busy she is or how much she has going on, she takes the time to acknowledge me, say hello, and help if I need something. She never makes you feel like you’re bothering her or that she’s too busy for you. She is always smiling, kind, patient, and genuinely welcoming — something that unfortunately feels increasingly rare in customer service today. She is also absolutely wonderful with my kids and my dog, and those little interactions mean more to customers than people probably realize. She doesn’t just provide great customer service; she makes people feel seen, remembered, and valued. You can train someone to do the tasks required for a job, but you cannot train someone to genuinely care about people. Kelly has that naturally. She is an outstanding representative of this store and exactly the kind of employee a company should recognize, appreciate, and do everything it can to keep. Please make sure she receives the recognition she deserves. Employees like her make a difference, and I hope she knows that her kindness and effort do not go unnoticed. She is truly an asset to your store.

  Very disappointing experience at this Lowe’s. The service was extremely slow, especially when it came time to pay. I spent way more time waiting than I should have, and the staff did not seem very attentive or concerned about getting customers checked out efficiently. As a contractor, I shop at Lowe’s frequently and spend a significant amount on materials, so I expect at least a reasonable level of customer service and efficiency. Unfortunately, this location fell well below that expectation today. Management really needs to pay more attention to staffing and the checkout process. Customers shouldn’t have to waste this much time just trying to pay for their materials and leave.

  Lowe’s used to be amazing to deal with, I’ve had several projects done by Lowe’s! I am now having one issue after another! Latest I had blinds installed the one set has been an issue from install! The binds are short but the wants are long! Looks hideous!!!! They ordered wands from somewhere, I had the installer here and he advised they aren’t going to work! Had them look again for wands. Nope so I do not have made to order blinds I have cut to order blinds! Now the solution I was told to get different blinds and my original purchase is not valid for a refund!!!!!! WHAT?!? It’s been your delay in fixing and scheduling the appointments to resolve!!! I’m so over Lowe’s. I will be closing my account and will never shop here again!!!!!

  On 06/07/2026, I placed an order with Lowe’s for a complete shower kit that was part of a total remodel of my bathroom. Throughout the order process, Lowe’s informed me that the item would be delivered on 06/26/2026. However, on that day the item did not arrive, and I did not receive any communication from Lowe’s to inform me of any delays. I spoke to people at the Lowe’s in McCandless, PA, from which the item was to be delivered, as well as people at regional office, but no one was able to tell me when the item would be delivered. After getting help from a regional manager, the manager at the Lowe’s McCanless store called me on 06/29/2026 and said the shower would be delivered the following day. On 06/30/2026, my order status still was not showing that the shower would be delivered, so I called the Lowe’s McCandless store again to verify the status. The young lady I spoke with put me on hold, presumably to speak with the store manager, but whoever she spoke to told her to tell me they couldn’t find the item. Mind you, this is a 30” by 60”, more than 6-foot-tall shower that ships mostly assembled. After speaking with the regional manager again, the Lowe’s McCandless store manager called and said that when I had spoken to him the previous day, he told me that the shower would be delivered two days later. I reminded him that he used the word “tomorrow,” which does not mean two days later. He promised to get the shower to me that day. Unfortunately, whoever built the pallet that was holding the item did a shoddy job, and it broke during unloading, causing it to fall off of the forklift and damaging it. Once again, I called the McCandless store to report the damage. They promised to deliver a new shower on 07/06/2026. When that day arrived, the shower did not arrive. Again, I received no updates or communication. After making some more calls, I was told that the shower had to be specially ordered from the manufacturer and would take as long as three weeks. At this point I had wasted several days sitting at home, waiting for a shower instead of being productive at my office. My contractor had reached a point at which they could not proceed any further without having the shower. They had to stop work and move on to another job. I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint against Lowe’s due to their lack of communication, dishonesty of their store manager, and lack of action in getting me an item for which I paid nearly $3,000. The shower was ultimately delivered on 07/22/2026. However, now I have to wait for my contractor to finish the job they’re currently doing before resuming my job. This sets me back and additional month, during which time I have a completely unusable bathroom. Lowe’s purports itself to be a leading hardware store, and I asked that they refund me half the money for the shower to compensate me for the difficulties they caused. They insisted that they could not compensate me for lost time, and that they best they could do was a $100 gift card. What happened to the days when businesses held themselves and their employees accountable for their actions? I think this story is important for people to know if they are considering making a purchase from Lowe’s particularly if it is something being shipped to them.
