Broken elevator.
The facility itself is clean, and the location is convenient. Edward, the location manager, was also great to work with.
Unfortunately, my moving day was a very frustrating experience. The large elevator was out of service with no prior notice. Around 3–5 other people were moving at the same time, so everyone was forced to share the single small elevator. We were waiting 5+ minutes between trips with carts and furniture on hand, while movers were charging by the hour.
To make matters worse, the employee working that day became defensive when I asked about the elevator. She said she’s just covering for someone for the day and that she wasn’t aware of the issue until a short while ago. We were simply told that no one could fix it, that a work order would have to be submitted, and that it would take time.
What should have been a straightforward move turned into an unnecessarily
frustrating experience.
