  Originally met in March requesting a quote. A quote was promised, which I never received after several follow up texts. Finally got a text back randomly, months later, and we agreed on another time to meet for a revised quote since my landscape design plans changed. I scheduled to work from home specifically to be able to meet for this estimate. I got a text saying he is on his way, followed by another one shortly thereafter saying something just came up, which I surmised to mean he isn’t coming anymore. I gave him the benefit of the doubt (a second time), and I asked to reschedule yet again. I never got any suggested alternative date from him, and he didn’t show any desire to be proactive about rescheduling. I said I’m wrapping up collecting my quotes shortly and I wanted him to come out (based on his good reviews), to which he responded all good he doesn’t want to bid against others. Huh? That’s kind of the point of doing business, good sir. If you’re not interested, just say so. Anyway, this saga was bizarre and a waste of my time. I don’t know if he just didn’t care, or had other priorities, but it’s safe to say I was a complete backburner item to him, which is a shame since I have big plans for the space. I typically view however communication goes during the estimate phase as reflective of how it would go during the actual work phase, and that has been an accurate assumption in my experience with contractors so far. To be fair, I have encountered this flakiness and difficulty communicating more than once in the landscaping industry. I don’t know what it is about landscaping, or whether I just have bad luck. He seems like a nice guy (if my memory serves me right from many months ago).

  We’ve been using Valley Green Landscaping for about five years, and they’ve been outstanding. They handle our weekly lawn maintenance and have completed several landscaping projects for us over the years, and we’ve always been happy with the results. Dominic, the owner, truly cares about his customers and takes pride in his work. He’s hardworking, incredibly responsive, and always willing to come out to our property to look at ideas or discuss projects whenever I ask. That level of customer service is hard to find these days. If you’re looking for a reliable landscaping company that does quality work and genuinely cares about its customers, I highly recommend Valley Green Landscaping. Five stars!

  Valley Green Landscaping are Awesome and Professional!! The Lawn always looks top notch when they are finished, and I have a lot of yard!! Everything is Trimmed and cut to perfection. I never have to worry if I am having a gathering, Lawn always looks nice. The team is very accessible as well!
