My parents visited this location seeking assistance with changing the carpet in our home. Because they were unfamiliar with the process, they asked an employee for guidance. After completing the application, they requested service for the following day. To briefly explain, the elderly white lady tore up their application and instructed them to return tomorrow. My parents felt disrespected and completely hurt by this interaction. Customers who are seeking assistance should be treated with patience and courtesy, not dismissed in this manner. I am requesting that this incident be reviewed. My mom was very excited for this carpet change, and that lady completely ruined her day. I normally don’t write reviews but this was just completely wrong for her to do. I also wanted to mention that English is not my parents’ first language, which I am
sure gave her a sense of entitlement to act so unprofessionally with them.

First, let me start by saying I have only written two reviews in my life because I usually only do so when I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I receive.
Today, I visited Lowe’s on Roosevelt Blvd. to purchase flooring I had previously selected, along with something to unclog my kitchen drain. Upon entering the store, a gentleman directed me to aisle 16. However, when I got there, I could not find the item he had shown me on the screen.
I then approached someone I believed worked there, and he kindly offered to help. Shortly after, we came across two employees. One of them stayed behind and called for assistance over the walkie-talkie, requesting that a young lady come to the aisle to help me. He then left to assist his coworker.
I waited over 15 minutes, and no one ever came. During that time, an older couple approached me and asked if I was waiting for help. When I said yes, they replied, “Good luck — there’s no help in this store.” We spoke briefly and then went our separate ways.
At that point, I returned to the front of the store where I had originally entered to ask the young man if he could get someone to assist me. He was on a phone call, so another young lady — who was also on a call — asked how she could help. I explained that I had already been waiting over 15 minutes for assistance. Her response was simply that “someone should be around,” and she continued her call.
By then, I was extremely frustrated. I walked out saying, “I don’t have to spend my money here,” and I meant it. Instead, Home Depot received my $2,603.46 purchase.
Customer service is everything, and unfortunately, the service I experienced today was extremely poor. Moving forward, I will no longer be shopping at Lowe’s. I sincerely hope management takes steps to improve employee attentiveness and customer service at this location.

Absolutely disappointed. Scheduled an appt to have measurements done for rugs after having to wait a week they didn't call or show up .to boot the employee we asked for help with this in the store didn't seem to want to do it and was extremely irritated by us. I liked Lowe's do to how there's always someone around to help but this just sent my business back to home depot for sure.
