“the saw is down” how typical hey lowes if your always going to say you can’t do a single rough cut on a piece of plywood then just make it really clear you don’t rough cht lumber instead of wasting my time.

I’m not one to give negative reviews but I just had the most bizarre shopping experience where the employee at self check out as I was paying for my transaction accused me of not scanning in all of my items when I indeed had. She approached me without greeting, reached over the self check out and suspended the transaction (without greeting), TOLD me I didn’t scan all of my items, reviewed what had been scanned and when she realized I indeed had scanned all of my items uttered “oh” and walked away. I’m sure this store (as most in Philly do) struggles with retail theft and I can understand stores taking action to prevent loss but this specific interaction left me feeling incredibly uneasy and unsure if I will return or choose the competitor across the street next time.

Lowe's sold my family a microwave that they knew was a defective model. Never buy a "major appliance" from Lowes. They give you a 48 hour warranty. We purchased a Whirlpool microwave that worked for 4 days and broke. Lowes directs us to Whirlpool who has had our microwave at a remote location for a month without fixing it. Whirlpools first told us "there are tons of issues with this model we're not sure if we're going to repair or replace it." Still waiting on that replacement and no working microwave. Amazing that a major business like Lowe's scams their customers like this with a 48 hour warranty.

Whoever was working 6/19/26 at the paint desk was so incredibly disrespectful. I came up to the paint desk with my mother and asked for two cans of paint that I already used prior. He kept asking us questions and questioning why we chose the paint we chose, where did we find this color, why are we using it for a bedroom, why did we use primer, etc. We bought this SW color before and used it for two other bedrooms already. My mother tried to be nice and ask him what should we have done and he pointed at the paint banner and said “ask for help, when you ask for help you’ll know”
Mind you my mom was asking what we could’ve done better the next time, and he responded with that. Usually the Lowe’s paint people are helpful (even to women.) and this guy just wasn’t helpful and instead made comments and questioned what we knew.
Then my husband picked up the paint and he changed his attitude. Very much felt like we were being mansplained paint because my husband wasn’t there in that moment. Sad to know that a woman can’t feel confident in picking out paint.

I would NOT recommend Lowe’s to ANYONE. I’ve never ever had such a bad shopping experience in my entire life. I have had an ongoing issue with an online order for a $600 grill since May 25, 206. Each week, I call, am made promises, receive multiple emails regarding my delivery, receive the automated phone call regarding my delivery, only to get another email the day of delivery rescheduling to the following week. This has happened between the Deptford, NJ store and a South Philadelphia, PA. I’ve spoken to the Corporate customer service people for 2 weeks and I get no answers other than, “we do not know what happened to you grill.” If this grill wasn’t a Lowe’s exclusive I would have told them to shove it sideways 2 weeks ago. It is now June 19, 2026 and I still have no grill and no answers. For a corporation the size of Lowe’s this is 100% unacceptable. Do yourself a favor….shop at Home Depot. Lowe’s does not care about customer satisfaction. They are full of lies. No managers at either Deptford or Philadelphia did anything to help the situation. Just lots of passing the buck.
6/26/26 UPDATE: STILL NO GRILL A MONTH LATER!! I received a posted “apology” response as shown from Lowe’s regarding my issue. I have literally (I have phone proof & dates) called that useless number Lowe’s provided TEN TIMES in the past month. All I’m given from those useless associates is that they are “only a Call Center” and can only escalate the issue and guarantee a call back from the Store Managers. Even though I placed this order online, I have to speak with a Store Manager - who I’ve already been waiting on phone calls back for WEEKS now - to solve my issue. The Call Center tells me they have no management there and that I need to send a LETTER to Corporate. They provided me with a physical address only and advised there are no email addresses or phone numbers for Corporate. Again, all pass the buck liars!!! Don’t tell me you care and want to make things right. You don’t care. You’ve had my $600 for a month and I still don’t have a grill. An attorney and the BBB are my next phone calls. That’s for sure.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
